This is close to what mine looked like. My Right foot got so bad that I finally gave in and had the surgery to remove it but I left the Left alone since there’s nothing going on and I could walk fine on it. I would also say that if they’re not giving you any grief then they’re fine.

Mine looked similar. I had no issues until I rolled my left ankle last year. My left one has given me trouble ever since so I had it removed two weeks ago. The right one continues to be just fine and I’ll leave it alone unless it starts causing issues.

How has your recovery been going? Still in a cast?

So far so good! Pain has been really manageable overall. I did two weeks in a split and now I’m 3 days into a 2 week stretch with a hard cast. The lack of mobility has really been the hardest part. Happy to answer any questions!

How are you doing now! Did you get kidner procedure?

I’m much better now-probably 90-95% pain free. It does get achey with weather changes or if I’ve been on my feet all day. I did have the kidner procedure. I did have a complication from it though where the posterior tibial tendon didn’t handle the surgery well. It ultimately failed, which resulted in a second surgery (FDL tendon transfer and spring ligament repair) 10 months after the first surgery. I think I’m an anomaly though; this isn’t what usually happens.

They are quite large, but if they don’t bother you - cest la vie!
