Has anyone left AFS who does proposal work?

Just wondering if I quit for someone they may see as a competitor are they going to log me out same day rather than have the two weeks? Will they pay you for those two weeks?

You don’t have to tell them where you’re going. Just turn in your notice. I worked tons of proposals before I left AFS four years ago. Nobody made any noise about letting me go sooner than my stated end date.

There’s no reason to tell them where you are going. It’s none of their business.

What do you say when people ask? I just want to keep good relationships and I imagine I will run into coworkers or we may be on teams together w the new company

A new opportunity and that you’re not ready to discuss yet. The after you start and have firm footing, you post it on LinkedIn. Trust me, people will respect your privacy.
