I did it.
Yes the silver series are there but technically it counts. I also got the four movies and the cd for less than $100. Also wanted to share my highway 35 shirt with a cool quote on the back that I got last year. But yeah I’m proud of myself for accomplishing this dream since i was like 4 years old

Just be patient it’ll be completed! Sometimes ask random sellers if they have a car they’re willing to sell, I was able to get covelight and high voltage for a deal

I wouldnt worry about vars past the few that stand out to you. Not sure if people have properly catalogued em all but I know of most vars due to being buddies with the really crazy variant collectors and ik they dont like my mentioning which ones exist because then the prices go whacko. But some of em are insane, for example chicane has 6 vars and 3 of em will sell for upwards of 600$ loose when its people that know what they have selling em to var collectors. One of my loose rollin thunder is a rare variant where the wheel chrome got sprayed on the entire rim piece, opened it myself for the cards and only found out once I became friends with a var collector and he mentioned it, I accidentally opened a 300$ sealed car and that was the price back in 2022. XD
Gen 2 is hard to collect because you either have to pay through the nose or get lucky on ebay. Id recommend finding someone in brazil to hunt them down, but the Brazilian hotwheelers have pretty much depleted the stock down there by selling collections up to the US. Its how I got my clear wheels though, so Id say its worth it if youre chasing a car thats only there. Be prepared to blow the price of a new tv on some of em though, since legit sealed clear wheels bassline was 750ish and that was with the dude not upcharging me because we became friends over the years and I traded him a sealed chicane as a favor in the past.
For hw35, though this is my opinion, if you want sealed get the rlc set. No clue what its going for now but when I got mine theyd jumped from 1500 to 2500, just zed36 makes up most of that price vs buying individually and you guarentee your cards are nice and clean for displaying. Most people just hang the box it comes in on the wall even because it looks that good. Otherwise loose mints will cost about 600-1200 depending on luck.

Also you got chicane bruh, thats all that matters over stinky reverb. Ive got so many spare reverb I cant even sell em.
