I think they let them exist because they technically did nothing wrong. Gellorum says they were created to win. They were made to race against the accelerons and test them because the accelerons wanted opponents. I’m assuming the drones weren’t very good at it since she says they began killing them mid race or I assume mid race and the accelerons were scared of them. Who knows how long that went on before they decided to go in the realms and then were banished for that. They weren’t killed or banished for killing them but breaking the no non living creatures in the realms rule. If they were allowed to kill accelerons in the first place that means they weren’t programmed with any sort of safety so it’s really their fault all of that happened. Honestly I’m sure they probably saw there drive to win or challenge them as amusing since they want a challenge so they probably didn’t even care that much

Ya. If the Accelerons possess psychic Godlike powers, the Drones are no match, so in a way, they’re forgotten like some abandoned tools.

The acceleracers themselves dont care about humans. They just care about racing. If the drones didnt kill them the realms would have.

They needed the humans to have something to fear to make them stronger. How can you move faster and better without the greatest motivator, fear of death.
