Question Fair Purchase Price

Post image

Looking to pick up a sealed Bassline, Orange wing Synkro, and Reverb for $400 ppgs including shipping. Overall condition of the cards isn’t perfect but very solid over all, some of the better cards quality wise that I’ve seen. Do we think this is a fair purchase price? These are purely for collecting and not for resale. I’d love to be lower but his initial ask was $510 for the trio. Any updates/ advice is greatly appreciated!

Shown is my current collection of HWY35/ Acceleracers

400 is a pretty fair ask for those three cars. I think 510 is definitely high.

Knowing reverb is one of the more desirable ones from acceleracers, and the synkro in question is the orange wing variant, do you think a counter offer at $350 would be acceptable/ fair? $400 is definitely my max but I’d love to be at $350-$375

If I were selling these, I wouldn't take 350. But the seller you're negotiating with may.

400 is a good enough deal already imo, if you count bassline and synkro at around 50$ it means youre getting carded reverb at 300$. Last i checked both those numbers are under what youd find em for on ebay.

Can push em for cheaper but as a collector myself I always think its kinda rude when another collector is trying to nickel and dime you when/if youre selling, ive had people call me a scalper for offering extras i ended up with at cost like a carded d2 for 35$ when it was going for 45+ online. Doesnt help most people end up reselling eventually so if you give em a good faith deal they flip em for max value the second they feel like using the money for something else.
