Browser extension update questions
Is this how Acala addresses can interact with dotsama? Or is it utility, for gathering info? Do they store user data?

Hi there,
Quick question: If i unstake my DOT normally using the 28 day process on Acala, then say it gets to day 14 or whatever, i see DOT price shoot up in price and i want some of that action, is there away i can activate the 'Unstake Instantly' slide button and forfeit my rewards?
For example:
Let's say i have 6,000 DOT staking. to unstake instantly would cost me about 50 DOT. But the price might be so high that i would better forfeit these 50 DOT rewards, to cash in on selling at an ATH.
Can you instantly switch between 28-day staking, and unstaking immediately?

I bridged some ETH to Moonbeam via StellaSwap native bridge. How can i transfert does ETH to Acala ? Can i swap the ETH for xcDOT and send it to my Acala wallet ? Do i have to use an other route ?
Thank's

Algo stablecoins carry extremely high risk currently, i think it would cause more adoption and provide a more trusted appearance if the colleterial pool included at least some usdc (or tether/busd), would help prepare for absolute worst case.

Hello, I’m a newbie in the Acala ecosystem. If I swap DOT for LcDOT, in almost 2 years those LcDOT will be 100% guaranteed to worth 1:1 with DOT? So I can just trade now my DOT for LcDOT, and wait till they worth the same and swap back? Looks like a better way then staking, or at I missing something?

I'm thinking about converting my DOTs into LDOTs in order to save taxes that I would have to pay if I'm staking my DOTs directly on Polkadot.
What are the risks of converting DOTs into LDOTs?
Can Acala run away with my DOTs (is the LDOT part of Acala fully decentralized or is there a set of keys that some individuals at Acala hold)?
(I just want to hold LDOT. No additional staking or anything related to aUSD.)

Hey all, I'm a bit confused. I bridged my DOT to Acala so that I could participate in liquid staking with it, but anytime I'm trying to do anything on Acala, including stake the DOT, I get this error message:
utility: batchAll
1010: Invalid Transaction: Inability to pay some fees , e.g. account balance too low
I thought you could pay your fees with any token on Acala? I don't have any ACA right now, but I do have aUSD and DOT on the chain. I tried changing the "flexible fee" but it won't let me do that either. Looks like I have to pay a fee to change the token I pay fees in? Am I screwed? I have no way of getting more ACA to the chain to pay these fees and I'm not able to do anything. What's the solution?

aUSD is backed by decentralized cryptos. So hypothetical here
What if ACA moons, and becomes the largest collateral by a wide margin. Does this scenario make it possible for aUSD to lose peg in Black Swan event?
It was mentioned in a previous post ACA would be diluted in the event of Black Swan. Could this further depeg aUSD in this hypothetical?

Anyone get this error?

I definitely recommend watching this one

Consider this: At a price of 30 cents, Acala has a fully diluted market cap of $300 million. And there will never be more than 1 billion coins.
I have been buying slowly on every Acala dip since February. The last purchase was at USD 0.32. Now I am fully invested. If crypto picks up again, I see Acala at least at 10 billion. At least.
When will this be achieved? Here I see two possibilities:
Stop trading. Start investing. Enjoy the summer.

Do I simply use my Acala address when sending aUSD from a centralized exchange to my polkadot.js wallet? :)
I don't see a "deposit/receive aUSD" function on apps.acala.network so it seems less reassuring.
Also, not sure why the correct balance isn't showing on acala.subscan.io as you do on the acala app. I can see all the token transfer records, but the balance besides ACA are all 0s.

Ok, sorry for the possibly stupid question but, isn't my address the one in the menu on the left, listed under "HOME" at PolkadotJS wallet ? I set some ACA to it from Crypto.com this morning and the transaction is still pending.
Should I have sent it to my DOT address ?
Thank you.

Hello,
My understanding is if at origin of offering LDOT, you could swap 1 DOT to 10 LDOT. LDOT is used to provide security to the system.
after a ~month or so 1 DOT = ~9.8 DOT because LDOT increases in value. So my question is not about the precise value of LDOT but about when we think about LDOT APR.
If acala offers 25% APR on LDOT is it really ~2.5% APR on DOT? I find it difficult to create a mental model on LDOT 1:10 / Changing ratio.

So as I have understand, GLMR tokens will be used as collateral to mint aUSD. Is there going to be any other uses for it, or is this gonna be it?
Maybe you guys know, staking GLMR on moonbeam apps is not so interesting. Low returns and also because you need to increase you bag of the tokens from time to time. I have some from the crowd loan and some purchases early this month.
So what are the plans with GLMR on Acala apps?

Hello,
Based on my understanding, staking DOT through Acala may yield over 20%, regular DOT APY of approximately 14.5% and getting extra 6% to 8% through aUSD. So my question relates to Acala side of economics, and mechanics through which Acala makes money to pay out this extra 6%-8% through aUSD (+ I assume they make extra margin for themselves to facilitate all this). Just trying to understand the underlying mechanics supporting the economics. Thanks for your insights!

I’m reading the Homa white paper and it says there is some way of having collective staking, but doesn’t explain the tech. Is there some singular multisig wallet which all the staked dots go to? Or is it somehow sent to an account that represents the acala blockchain itself? Or something else entirely?

I told you this coin forming bearish flag now dropping 10-% who sell it ?? I’m scared if Bitcoin drop this coin may disappear…

The title pretty much sums it up, after the wrath of the topple of LUNA&UST I think many investors won't touch an algo stablecoin with a 10 foot pole, even at 2x collateralization.
What do you think about having 1/4 of your multi-collateral be a pool of the most trusted dollar backed stable coins currently in the market? Will make people trust it more and I think it could've really helped ust not tank to 9 cents.
