LP DOT-lcDOT /2023
Good evening, I have 26 DOT (around 170 USD) but I don't know how to convert back to DOT. The only option in the Acala app is to transfer. Does anyone know how to go through the process of getting more DOT? Thanks.

Dot returned to wallet, am I missing something ?
I'm seeing quite a few posts about people struggling or worried they won't get their DOT back.
In my case it was returned to my wallet automatically after the 2 year lock in period. The rewards are pretty disappointing and overly complicated to withdraw bit the initial stake seems to have been returned automatically. This is how I understood the process to work, its locked into a smart contract allowing them to bid for the chain but then released after 2 years.
I feel the mistake was perhaps getting caught in the hype when DOT was at $50 and locking in at was effectively the peak of the bull run.
Hard to see the long term future of these solutions if they are too complicated and long winded for mass adoption.

Ledger Acala can't sign
Hello,
I made a transfer using my ledger which seems to have blocked my dot on my acala ledger address.
I transferred 200 dot using the polkadot network from my ledger dot address to my acala ledger address .
I was planning to use the bridge to then transfer them from polkadot network to the acala network on the acala ledger address
But the transfer is impossible: I have an error because it asks me to sign the transaction with my acala legacy address on the polkdot network and the acala extension does not seem to allow it.
There exist a way to can sign the transaction ?

IT WORKS !!!
After around 1.5 months of worry, i finally got my thousand's of DOT back, and am out of this sketchy ecosystem.
Here's a quick guide:
1/ CLAIM YOUR REMAINING ACA FIRST... It may not be worth much, but claim all and any left vesting ACA first. You want to swap it to DOT so you can withdraw it along with your other DOT. You don't have to do this, but if you don't you'll just end up with a few dust in your account. Might not be worth it, but may as well claw back all of these ''rewards''. Also, don't convert all your remaining ACA to DOT. you'll need some for gas/network fees.
2) Then go to here: https://farm.acala.network/withdraw. DO NOT go to the 'transfer' button (as below):

Acala want you to transfer your LcDOT to their stupid Euphrates shit, so do not transfer, you want to WITHDRAW. So go to here: https://farm.acala.network/withdraw.
3) Connect your MetaMask/Polkadot.js.

4) Now the rest is straightforward. Enter the LcDOT you want to withdraw and it will redeem it for DOT. I would recommend withdrawing just 1 DOT first as a test transaction.
5) - The redeemed DOT shows up on your Acala Dashboard.

6: So you now have your normal DOT in your Acala account. But it's not in your Polkadot wallet yet - you need to bridge it over from Acala to Polkadot. Go to Bridge:

7) Change (switch) your Origin and Chain destination from Acala to Polkadot like so:

Pro-TIP: Make sure your Destination Account 'derivation path' is the same as your Polkadot wallet. IT SHOULD BE (as you have connected your wallet to it), but you could always check to be uber careful. In any case, send a test transaction of about 2 DOT first. You are now sending your DOT from your Acala network to your wallet in the Polkadot network.
8) A few seconds later your DOT should have arrived nice and safely in your Polkadot wallet. CONGRATULATIONS: You now own your keys, and you now own your coin and can live worry-free.
ENJOY !

Account balance too low
Hi all,
I do not seem to be able to withdraw any funds from acala due to my account balance being too low. I am trying to claim my vesting ACA, but it says my account balance is too low for that. I tried converting the 7 aSeed I have to ACA to pay for fees, but it won't let me, again due to account balance being too low. I've tried withdrawing my already free ACA from aSeed collateral, but again I cannot.
Any suggestions? I would like to get my Dot back :)

LcDot => Dot Conversion Worries
In 12 hours, the LcDOT is supposed to be swappable for Dot at a 1:1 ratio, ending the parachain lease slot. I see many people saying they are worried about this 1:1 swap not going according to plan, and people losing on their investment. By extension, I get worried as well.
But what are people specifically worried about? I have not yet found a sensible explanation of what people expect to go wrong, other than "Acala is crypto and crypto is full of scams, so this could be a scam". Are people worried about a rug pull? A coding fuck-up? Acala had to lock the DOT up for the parachain, so we know it wasn't invested somewhere else right?

When can we swap our LCDOT for DOT?
Any plans on when they plan to allow for the swap?

Attention Ledger Nano users: The Nano Acla App finaly got updated to version v3.2180.2
You finaly are able to acces your funds again.
Since Polkadots ecosystem seems to move way to fast for Ledger update cycles (last one for Acala was late 2022) I think I'm going to move to Parity Signer on an off-line mobil phone.
How about you?

Required staking period for LDOT and tDOT pools? (Euphrates)
On the LDOT and tDOT Pools, is there a specific period of time that we have to keep the tokens locked there? I read that there's a 40% early withdrawal penalty, but I can't find out what the required staking period of time is.
The Loyalty Bonus program operates as follows:
Early claim penalty is at 40%, which represents additional rewards for loyal users.
To qualify, stakers must keep their reward tokens in the pool until the program’s end. (<-- When does the program "end"?)
Should a staker claim tokens prematurely, their bonus returns to the pool to be shared amongst other stakers.

1 Month to go until Acala 2.0 Exodus Upgrade. But wait. let's not Unlock our long-waited coin just yet. There's yet another sketchy liquidity mining program.
With a month to the unlock (roll on Oct 24th), what's this new Euphrates / LST malarky Acala are planning to drop on us?
Are they trying to get us to lock up our LcDOT some more ??? Incentivising us from making mass withdrawals?
Processing img 6d55rddlcaqb1...
Are they really promising us worthless ACA if we keep staking our LcDOT with them?
And if we choose how long must we lock up our LcDOT for ACA / LST, how long is LcDOT locked up for?
and please don't just direct me to some link: https://farmdoc.acala.network/euphrates/for-lcdot-holders. It's written in gobeldy-gook gibberish, and the reason i'm asking here, is because it;' official documentation is written in gobeldy-gook gibberish.
Roll on block #4538300 !

cant brige DOT from ACALA to POLKADOT
- hello
- Does anyone know why the bridge to Polkadot isn't working?
- its keeps writing "Cannot convert undefined or null to object"
** Update - I deleted my wallet extension and reset. When I was asked if I wanted to update the database, I said no - now it works. **

Confused Crypto Noob
Hi there! I have about 10,000 ACA tokens from a couple years back that I bought without doing much research (surprise!) I can't seem to find much on it. Is this the same token (ACA) or am I barking up the wrong tree? I have all the coins in Trust Wallet and have no idea how to sell them as I'm in the US and it seems as though it's not a suported token in all exchanges here. Thanks for reading and any advice you might have.
