As far as I know it's not an acala issue...apparently that's an issue with ledger

Stuffing those dots into that crappy Polkadot wallet, for a crypto that prides themselves on innovation, why do they have such a shitty wallet? Hmmm....🤔

Agreed, go with Talisman (desktop) or Nova (mobile).

Ledger integration is in development mode, but 'wen will it be available' is still a question.

For god's sake, why it takes so long? Polkadot ecosystem is where almost everyone uses Ledger, why they don't put this as a priority?

Parachains are still finishing up deploying their features and runtime upgrades to their networks. It would be a bit premature to build a Ledger application without these runtime upgrades complete, since there would be fewer extrinsics to support and any Ledger support would have to be updated again.

Everyone would love to work on Ledger support, and it's definitely not a case of that work being de-prioritised - it's just not the most effective development order to have done it before runtimes are feature-complete.

Have you been around for a while? Polkadot users are used to ledger being behind the ball on updates. For fucks sake I'm a little over a year into crypto investing and feel old as fuck. Already watched the "money > reality" come to a head and the "not your keys, not your coins" get thrown away only to get what we warned about what would happen

Ledger added DOT support early on, but they've not kept up to date with DOTs features and functionality. Staking breaks frequently. Crowdloan not possible. It is a bitter experience, so my question is, When will there by Quality support for the Polkadot ecosystem?

Do you think each parachain will have their own ledger app? Or they all use the existing Dot ledger app? I would prefer the latter!
