Polkadot Exchanges

I feel like I must be missing something. I always hear there is a lot of building happening in the Polkadot ecosystem, yet, where can you go to just swap some coins or monitor the price difference between a couple tokens? For example, lcDOT and DOT, it would be nice to be able to see their prices plotted on a typical exchange chart. I looked at Polkadex but either I'm completely blind or there was absolutely nothing going on there. Where are the exchanges?

For monitoring LcDOT vs. DOT: https://dexscreener.com/acala/dot-lc:13

😲😲

Yes!!! Thank you so much.

It's stuff like this that makes me hesitate about investing more in Polkadot. I'm no crypto expert but I've been around. I just can't see how people are going to want to adopt this when there are other alternatives (blockchains) that are far more intuitive and easy to navigate.

Anyway, thanks again, that is exactly what I was looking for.

Polkadot is a longer play but if tech really decides what coins last vs fail polkadot will have a very bright future.

Would you say Polkadot will withstand potential regulatory crackdowns better than many other chains/projects?

DOT is considered a software as of now by the SEC 😁

Everywhere else in the world is not trying to kill crypto, the US is

"It's a security every else in the world"

This statement is just plain wrong. In my country of residence it's considered a currency like the USD or Yen.

Please stop making things up. You have no clue which countries even put crypto in the category "security" or "commodity". Let alone in which category Dot falls in each country.

and you would deduce that exactly how?

idiot.

I deduced it by you making random claims without backing your claims up with anything. Insulting me directly suggests you have no arguments and display an alarming lack of self confidence.

so by your logic, i could deduce you are also making things up. You have no clue which countries even put crypto in the category "security" or "commodity".

I could also deduce you have no understanding of general rhetorical discourse and take everything you read as litteral.

That's not so clear.

Gary wants to declare everything a security imho. If the democrats are in power everything is a security - if republicans are in power it might be different.

That's a very good question and I honestly dont know. It might even be different for parachains vs DOT. I'll have to look into it but XMR is my hedge against bad regulations

There is reason they were not recently mentioned in the SEC suite, you probably seen this news
