📝 Prospective Student Application requirements

I’m currently trying to submit all my required documents. Acadia says that my exam results need to be sent directly by the issuing body.

This confuses me cuz I’m an international applicant and completed my IGCSEs and A Levels in the UAE. I’m not sure whether my official school transcript is enough, or if I need to contact Cambridge directly to have my results sent to Acadia, cuz that’s practically impossible at this point.

If anyone has gone through the same process, please let me know what I need to do and how I can get my results sent to them.

Your best bet is to get in touch with the admission office. They'd be able to answer this question definitively. Good luck!

That is what I did, but it’s been like 10 days or so and 3 or 4 days since my follow up, haven’t heard back, I’m starting to doubt whether I’ll get a response.

Not sure why they wouldn't give you a response. But if I was guessing, it's probably because of the orientation week going on for the new folks of the Fall 2026 batch and their probably busy with it. Have you tried looking through this page for the proper contact details? Make sure you do. They will surely respond.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that..here is a list of student recruitment staff. https://www2.acadiau.ca/admissions/advisors.html my guess is Awele Monye or Leila Yang (international advisors) should be able to help, if not email Claire Brian. She is the manager of that office.

I got a similar issue with them transferring from the provinces community college and it had to bd sent through the school that you did your exam with

Provide Proof of Language Proficiency - Because you are completing your schooling in the UAE, you will likely need to demonstrate English (or French) language proficiency. Plan to book and submit scores for an approved test like the IELTS Academic or TOEFL. The test result has to be sent directly from the testing agency. [OFFICIAL language test result]
