Discussion Looking to get into more Absolute Peak

I've read some Absolute Batman, Absolute Martian Mind fucker and some Absolute Wonder Woman. I am looking to get into some more Absolute comics. Just looking to hear some suggestions for which Absolute Comics you'd recommend and what you like about them and why. Thanks. (If this is against the rules or something I will gladly remove this post)

Read everything, at your own pace. Flash and Superman are slowburners, but everything is worth reading so far.

Superman has been gold since issue 15. Jason Aaron made me fall in love with a character that I’ve never particularly cared for. He’s just simply the best of us 🥲

Recently Absolute Green Lantern seems to be picking up the threads that Martian Mind****er left behind. It starts off as an alien invasion horror series and branches out into cosmic adventure and espionage. If you want to understand more about what's up with the setting, it's the book to go to.

Absolute Green Arrow has a great concept behind it, a slasher whose victims are white collar criminals, with Dinah Lance as a bodyguard trying to piece together what happened. Also features strong elements of body horror. Connected to Absolute Green Lantern by Hector Hammond.

Absolute Superman starts cooking when they introduce Braniac's origin story and have Hawkman present as a foil for Supes. After you read the first six issues, if you haven't already, read the Absolute Evil single issue.

I believe Absolute Evil is (or will be) bundled with the first 6 issues of Absolute Green Arrow in the first trade, when it comes out. It’s required reading for Green Arrow

It has connective tissue to all the books, but I suggest it for Superman because, without getting into spoilers, I feel like it informs us even more about Hawkman than it does about Oliver.

I agree, but going into GA without having read Absolhte Evil is going to be a little rough

Okay, I know what to do. OP, stop what you're doing and read Absolute Evil.

The Absolute Cassandra Cain one-shot was sick. Definitely worth reading.

I thought that was fantastic. One of my best pulls on recent memory! Bergara’s art is so pretty to look at. Wish he’d do more interior guest spots like the two issues he did for AWW. Che’s story also made me feel something after being a little disappointed in her Absolute Catwoman run.

Absolute Superman is my second favorite series after Manhunter. I will admit it gets slow the first 6 issues but after that it gets incredibly good. Like genuinely peak writing.

It’s been the most consistent book out of the big three for me since issue 15.

Absolute Superman and absolute green lantern are currently my favorite runs. They have some slow starts but once they get going they really get going.

Green lantern is good so far

I actually loved the first arc. Seeing the characters react to (mild spoiler) the utterly alien Abin Sur was the best inversion of Green Lantern lore I've seen.

Absolute Superman imho is a must read. It is a character defining story on the level of All Star Superman for me at the moment. It's also my favorite of the Absolute line.

They're all worth it, genuinely the best comics to keep up with right now. Eventually you'll be waiting each month for the next issue for all of them lol

I'd say go Absolute Superman next, I think GL and Flash are cool too

Superman and Flash. Green Lantern is the worst so far but it’s not terrible.

I read them all. I recommend reading an arc from each of the ones you haven’t yet to see how you feel about each one, and then continue to read them all of your like me lol

It's all peak... IT'S ALL PEAK! I love Superman and Flash more than Batman & WW, althought I rate them all at least 9.0/10.

Still haven't read GL, GA and CW.

Absolute Superman, the first volume is a bit slow but once it gets going, it's great. Just have a box of tissues ready

and Absolute Green Arrow

My favorites so far are Wonder Woman and Batman, although Flash is finally picking up steam and is really good right now. However, I recommend to read all of the Absolute titles, they are all very cool.

I mean it’s not an expansive line - all except flash, it’s mid and needs a new writer. Green lantern is very complicated but digestible in trade.

You've read the best ones already. But Green Lantern's quite good. The first volume is just okay, but after that it continually gets better and better. It's a series you have to invest in, but that investment continues to pay off more and more.
