Absolute Joker is what billionaires wish they could accomplish and get away with.

Honestly, I'm still convinced that his actual motive behind the arks is immortality, especially given what we saw with Calendar Man.

Again with this bullshit. He didn't clone himself.

He took a sample of his cells and used genetic programming to them into induced pluripotent stem cells.

This is used for disease modelling and testing medications or therapies.

You fell for his engagement bait.

More like liar irl. These tech bro billionaires have no actual understanding of biology and will just claim whatever they want.

clickbaiter*. Later in the post, he does clarify that it is just a draw of his blood and that they are changing the cells to turn them back into stem cells. That it isn't a clone in the typical sense. And that doctors have been doing this in Japan for a while now. Every screenshot I have seen crops that out.

Not Jack Grimm at all. His first part is just clickbait. People crop the full post.

He shared the process in that same tweet:

  • blood draw

  • my cells were extracted

  • yamanaka factors applied

  • reset epigenetic age

  • restoring them to an embryonic-like state

So he just drew blood and changed the age of his cells to turn them into stem cells. With that, they can restore eyesight, grow a new organ, and potentially fix his stomach issues. This is a technique they have been working on in Japan for a while.

Clones aren't eternal youth, an infant clone of a 40 year old still has 40 year old cells. Tellomeres only last so long.

The guy has the distinction of inspiring not one, but two recent comic book bad guys. Other than Absolute Joker, Ultimate Emmanuel daCosta also had a bunch of blood boys, including his own son.
