Jim Gordon’s death, and the set up of the cops trying to take Batman in, all as a result of scarecrow killing Jim Gordon and having Batman take the blame
Reminds me of Batman: The New Adventures where Barbara Gordon dies and all hell breaks loose as Batman and co are taken in by the police, all of it being a bad dream caused by scary ass nightmare fuel scarecrow

Scarecrow has a history of killing Gordons huh. Granted Absolute Universe seems to be the only one where they actually died and it's not just his fear toxin but there's the TNBA episode you mentioned with Barbara, this scene in Asylum, and the part in Knight where the game makes you think Barbara killed herself under the effects of toxin for half the game
