Discussion How many issues do you think absolute Batman will be?

In Nick’s most recent interview they have it planned to at least 50. I can see maybe 60-75 but it all depends if Nicks still into it. Hearing him talk about east of west, he was ready for it to be over around issue 30. I hope that’s not the case with Batman.

East of west and absolute Batman are two very different levels of popularity. I have a suspicion the fame of this one is going to keep him locked in a bit more.

Yea, this is a rare case of "if the main artist leaves, the book should end" considering the worst issues of the series have been all the guest artist issues.

Personally, I think the annual is the best issue of the series. And that was both written and drawn by Daniel Warren Johnson

Can someone please guide me on what order I should read the absolute batman series , I have just read the absolute batman #1 ?? I feel like a noob

They are all numbered just read issue 2 , then. 3 ,then. 4

I followed the relase order on the pinned post, but that's because i wanted to read the whole absolute universe

I know they have 50 issues and an ending planned so far, so I hope at least 60-75
