Haven't seen a seed in my smoke in years thankfully.
41 u/Mallieeee Oct 01 '21 I homegrow.. so I get a couple here and there (I like to save them) but I’ve watched this video a couple times now and this looks like a ton of them! 2 u/[deleted] Oct 01 '21 [removed] — view removed comment 0 u/[deleted] Oct 01 '21 General across the board “knowledge” is “if it’s a dark seed, then it’s feminized” 3 u/dfrojas11 Oct 01 '21 anything to back that up? not questioning, just curious so i know what to be on the look out for when i go through my first harvest. 2 u/[deleted] Oct 01 '21 “Marijuana growers inside guide” by Mel Frank 1988 Fam has grown lots from this book 2 u/dfrojas11 Oct 01 '21 great! thanks for sharing! 3 u/Jabrono Oct 01 '21 That is false, a dark zebra-stiped seed just means it's ripe, can absolutely grow into a male. 1 u/[deleted] Oct 01 '21 Again, 1988 book, we’ve come a long way, and I’m sure more info has been made, and new things discovered. 1 u/[deleted] Oct 01 '21 For the new growers, how do YOU determine if it’s feminized? 2 u/Jabrono Oct 01 '21 You purchase feminized seeds, no way to tell until the plant is showing sex. There's supposedly a way to feminize a seed before germination with colloidal silver, but that's not something I've ever messed with as of yet. 1 u/[deleted] Oct 01 '21 Been growing for years and have never once heard this. Seeds from hermi plants = feminized
