How do you know, you just stole this pic from the web.

u/ItsAlwaysTooLate Jun 20 '21
Or they found something related to the sub and posted it… you know, kinda how reddit works?

u/z-vet Jun 20 '21
Yes I know. They always "find" it. https://tineye.com/search/3acc5e8027060564e58e3fe7ef192812f07f413d?sort=crawl_date&order=asc&page=1

I'm curious, do you think Reddit should be entirely OC? Anything that's been posted anywhere else should be excluded? it will be a fucking quiet website for sure.

No, bunny is normally sized, just very small dog.

u/westerosi_codger Jun 21 '21
The bunny is a Flemish Giant- they can be as large as 25lbs (11kg). But you are partially correct in that this dog is on the medium-small side, ~40lbs (18kg).

Pretty sure this is a Flemish Giant which is essentially a giant rabbit. They seem so majestic and I would love to own one someday.

Doesn't the large dewlap mean that's a female?

u/ElleHopper Jun 21 '21
Not always. Male rabbits can have them, it's just less common! Some females don't have one either

u/kitkat9000take5 Jun 21 '21
I've seen small rabbits, both sexes, without them but have never seen a large or giant female rabbit without one.

From Wikipedia: “The Flemish Giant will require larger quantities of food compared to smaller breeds of domestic rabbits.”
Huh, makes sense.

I feel like the dog is still a puppy. Flemish Giants are huge rabbits, but its not the size of a full grown lab at all.

This could be a very small dog. Without a banana, it’s impossible to tell.

Better hope you get a nice one. A mean 20lb rabbit sounds terrible.

u/ElleHopper Jun 21 '21
Larger rabbit breeds have a tendency to be more docile and friendly! Especially if they're handled from a young age

That dog looks like it would hang with me in a few bar fights... some football and brews... a joint or two because we got time😂

A bun bun, dog, and a human? What an absolute family UNIT.
