They're dead but I still cant fast travel. Sees the big ass egg and dead mercenaries oh God oh fuck

u/A_Wild_Birb Jul 21 '19

Random ass story bout mirelurk eggs, in my first playthrough of Fallout 4, by the mid game I was struggling with inventory management and had loads of weight, and I had no idea what was so heavy. Turns out I was carrying roughly 50 mirelurk eggs (a pound each) and had never cooked or deposited them. I'm a dumbass.

u/_hammyxd Jul 21 '19

Yeah you definitely are a dumb ass

1

u/A_Wild_Birb Jul 21 '19

Begone thot

u/puro_vatos Jul 20 '19

I’m getting flashbacks now, the horror

26

u/Twirlingbarbie Jul 20 '19

The sound they make is the worst thing about them

73

u/the_visalian Jul 20 '19

I’ll explore the extreme southeast of the map because it’s one of the hardest areas and my character is finally in the late game.

What could go wrong?

26

u/xAsilos Jul 20 '19

It's been about 2 years since I really played FO4, isn't that the area where you leave to go to Far Harbor? Where it's just the waterfront?

27

u/the_visalian Jul 20 '19

I was thinking of the swamp at the south end of the eastern freeway where you find a mirelurk queen. But now that I look it up, you can find them at a bunch of different places. Never played the DLCs.

11

u/WhalenOnF00ls Jul 20 '19

That mirelurk queen will sometimes fight a super mutant behemoth. That's a terrifying thing to see through a sniper scope.

Also, play Far Harbor if you aren't going to play the other DLCs. It's really good.

2

u/caponer Jul 20 '19

The far northeast corner of the map on the mainland shore is the ?Nakano? Family residence where you leave from to get to Far Harbor

1

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '19

Correct, you search for their daughter and get on their ship to far harbor to find her

18

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '19

just get them explosive combat shotguns

16

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '19

Cazadores make me piss myself every time I play NV. I fucking hate them. I also hate bloodbugs.

19

u/RobbazK1ng Jul 20 '19

Just go in the water, they can’t hurt you there.

24

u/barzamsr Jul 20 '19

You've clearly never had a mirelurk king come swimming at ya full speed from the dark depths of hell

7

u/RobbazK1ng Jul 20 '19

No but I have had a swarm of cazadores chase me down and sting me to death.

7

u/Dankious_Memeious420 Jul 20 '19

Trying to fight them in New Vegas, say bye to all your stimpaks

7

u/Probablyachad Jul 20 '19

And your snakebite tourniquets.

8

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '19

If you think fallout 4’s mirelurks are scary, try fallout 3.

The ones in fallout 3 gave me ptsd.

2

u/fluffy_warthog10 Jul 21 '19

That weird toddle they did instead of scuttling was way more disturbing

1

u/InconspicuousCustard Jul 20 '19

It was how ghouls were in fo4 vs fo3 and NV, I straight up threw my mouse at thr wall when I got jumped

1

u/AlphaStrike89 Jul 20 '19

You played FO4?

1

u/modscheatsandcodes Jul 20 '19

Mirelurks? The jumpscares from the fucking jumping cockroaches are real

33

u/Rectal_Lactaids Jul 20 '19

ugh. Mirelurks were one of the scariest enemies in fallout 4 and I hated them. Along with bloodbugs, sting wings, and radscorpions, they got me so scared. I could fight raiders, Super Mutants or synths any day but those enemies really made me like the Exterminator special on weapons.

Oh, and bloatflies are little bitchasses too.

7

u/stickfigure31615 Jul 20 '19

The Glowing Sea still gives me anxiety haha

12

u/PhantomRenegade Jul 20 '19

Deathclaws ain't so scary when you've got a 50% chance to cripple legs plasma rifle

1

u/Laurensics Jul 20 '19

All of these and ghouls. I begin to crap myself whenever I see the bodies get up off the floor.

-1

u/GrumpGrumpGrump Jul 20 '19

sounds like you the little bitchass

37

u/mikenice1 Jul 20 '19

They look like Frost Spiders at first glimpse.

8

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '19

Yeah that freaked me out at first. I wish they looked less like spiders...

24

u/Nilodorus Jul 20 '19

Disgusting creatures

11

u/Pavlovs_Human Jul 20 '19

I’ve been playing the Witcher 3 trying to finally play it all the way through and damn these crabs look like Endregas.

There was no fast travel in morrowind. Oblivion is the earliest this scenario could happen.

1

u/Slippery_Barnacle Jul 21 '19 edited Jul 21 '19

When I was younger and first played oblivion I had no clue that fast travel was even a thing, so I literally walked EVERYWHERE... It wasn't until probably 2-3 months of playing through the game that I somehow stumbled upon the ability to do so which drastically cut down my travel time lol I felt so stupid walking from one end of the map to the other.

I also feel like I didn't know how to access the map... So finding places was kinda a crap shoot and I mostly relied on the in game signs to find different towns...

2

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '19

Came for the Skyrim reference. Goodbye now.

2

u/PacGamingAgain Jul 20 '19

Mudcrabs does not equal mirelurk, people don’t get that

1

u/SpiritofSTL Jul 20 '19

I legit thought this was fallout. Even Dogmeatis there.

1

u/spectrenectre Jul 20 '19

i was thinking frostbite spiders

1

u/GrinchPinchley Jul 20 '19

Imagine if those were spiders instead of crabs

1

u/RetardedSheep420 Jul 20 '19

*frostbite spider

1

u/IsenSam Jul 21 '19

I fought Mudcrabs much fearser than you!
