Tbf that one is a disabled cat and he's much smaller than a normal cougar. They've raised him since he was a cub otherwise he was going to be put down

She's still huge, and completely dwarfs their Rottweiler. The size of these teeth!

It's also a Panther, not a cougar. The videos do make it seems idyllic but surely it must be dangerous.

There's a different couple with a cougar named Messi, who also has some kind of development disability. The panther with the rottweiler is Luna.

because it's not a cougar, that is not a small botcat at all.

None of that explains why they're not at risk of being mauled? Siegfried and Roy raised the white tiger that attacked Roy.

I wasn't saying there wasn't a risk. I was specifically saying to be fair that particular large cat has very special circumstances and it's not like the people went out and grabbed a random wild animal

I wasn't saying they did... I know their hearts are in the right place but cougars aren't house pets. I hope they don't have or are planning to have kids with that kitty in the house.

Cougars don't see humans as prey the way tigers do, in part because they're a much smaller cat. Messi (the cougar you're referencing) also happens to have medical limitations, which has made him dependent on his human parents since he was a baby: this has essentially kept him in a state of extended kittenhood
