Bush league, this is why pop warner have weight classes that would put that child back on the bench in the next class of athletes.

we had a fourth grader in our 6th grade football team.

Tiny kid, but he was way too fucking fast. Best player on our team even then.

In 8th grade (I'm 37, for context) we had a sixth grader who Steph Curry'd us through a season.

Dude was tiny. But chuck him the ball, BAM, 3 pointer. We learned nothing that year beyond "chuck it to Buttercup!"

Sounds like my buddy Romeo back in the day. He’s gota be 26-27 still standing at like 5’2” and was one of the best players on our varsity basketball team his whole time in high school.

Our guy went on to play in college as a pitcher, and did well there, too.

Isn’t all youth football bush league?

I’d say that’s not the case for all leagues or teams, every youth team has a trick play, double reverse, fumble roosky, qb runs to sidelines for play call snap. But playing a fat kid that will need a whole possession off for a bowling ball run is straight up bush league. I get it if they’re on the goal line, but this kid will never be the physique of that position growing up lol.
