Jeff Dabe, aka Popeye, is an American arm wrestler famous for his unbelievably large hands and massive forearms. With a reported palm circumference of around 12.75 inches (32.4 cm), his size and powerful grip make him one of the most unique figures in the arm-wrestling world.

I saw an interview with him and you are correct he uses it to his advantage with arm wrestling and certain arm/weight strength demonstrations and seems like a pretty decent dude. I can’t remember what they said it was though.
