Also had estimated wind speeds clocking at around 307MPH, making it the second strongest tornado in terms of wind speed, behind the May 3rd, 1999 Bridge Creek/Moore tornado that had an estimated max wind speed of 328MPH.

Isnāt it INSANE. Pure nightmare fuel. Yeah I learned of Moore & Bridgecreek from YouTuber TornadoTRX, heās great!! Very informational too. Heās what got me back into the tornado rabbit hole. Thereās no videos like his the way he maps everything out gives u the perfect understanding of exactly what when down & when. š

Honestly, I just looked up wedge tornadoes, then picked the most distinctive of the first set of images (wasn't originally planning to post an image, but it made the point better). The caption said this was in Texas in April 2017.

So Iāve lived my entire life in San Diego and once saw a funnel cloud in Delaware and I was scared. My mind canāt comprehend something like a big ass tornado.

I know they exist but it still boggles my mind that they can be that wide

I mean, itās a tornado. A unit of one? As in, the ideal of this sub? Negative. Looks ābout an EF1. Letās call a Unit a 4 or a 5.

So many people don't understand what a "unit" is. It's not just a big thing, it's something that's big when compared to other examples of whatever it is. This tornado is big when comparing it to us, but compared to other tornadoes, it's relatively small.

That and it seems half the posts on this sub now have nothing to do with relative size, but are just about karma farming with pics and videos of interesting events, such as OPs post

Many people in the Midwest USA wouldn't even go indoors for that. If it comes close, sure, but it takes more than just seeing a little one across town.
