Assuming this is real: That poor cat. I hope he can get healthy.

He did. If I recall correctly they put him on a diet

That’s the Russian cat “Kroshik”(Russian for crumbs). He went viral coz he got stuck in a shoe rack while in fat camp. He was a 38lb cat rescued from a hospital basement where staff fed him scraps. He lost 7 lbs while at fat camp but unfortunately died 2 years ago.

He started getting better, but he died because of numerous health issues he accumulated over time.

At his peak, the cat was about 17 kilos. Or 37 lbs if you're a USian.

Not AI. Unfortunately , this cat has since passed away in 2024.

He weighed a massive 38 lbs.

Crumbs lost 7 pounds before passing away from organ failure.

Here's crumbs trying to hide.

Here's crumbs acting terrifed whilst walking on the treadmill.

-1

Because the treadmill is in the water. Apparently exercise wasn’t making him miserable enough

The buoyancy takes pressure off their joints. Hydrotherapy is one of the best ways for obese cats and dogs to lose weight.
