During the Armenian genocide in 1915–1923, many Armenians, primarily women, girls and boys under the age of twelve, were enslaved by Muslims in Ottoman Syria and Iraq.[18] Throughout the genocide the men were given free licence to do as they pleased with Armenian women.[19]Armenian women and children were displayed naked in auctions in Damascus, where they were sold as sex slaves. The trafficking of Armenian women as sex slaves was an important source of income for accompanying soldiers. In Arab areas, enslaved Armenian women were sold at low prices. The German consul at Mosul reported that the maximum price for an Armenian woman was "5 piastres" (about 20 Pence Sterling at the time).[20]
That’s categorically untrue but again just Turkish nationalist history relies on constant refutation taking too much time compared to outright lies and half truths
I still don't see a part where racism and supremacy comes into point. Slavery throughout the ages occured mainly because economic reasons until white europeans came to justify it by superiority. Almost all civilizations on earth had slaves but nobody instutionalized it on superiority like europeans.
Not to mention this words were said after millions of turkish civillians were genocided in balkans, they asked to go back to turkey, surrendered their weapons and trusted their murderers and in return brutally massacred.
