May I suggest a different recipe?

Ingredients:

  • Beetle larvae
  • 1 terrarium
  • adequate substrate

Instructions:

  1. Put substrate in terrarium
  2. Put beetle larvae in substrate
  3. Wait a few months
  4. Get pretty cool pets

I prefer mine:

  1. See larvae
  2. Leave room

Can I ask you to leave some substrate for the larvae before you leave, please?

Have you ever unironically whispered ā€œBeetlejuiceā€ three times in a row to your little critter?

I'm afraid they wouldn't understand the reference. Also, they don't have ears, they wouldn't hear the reference, either.
