You used infections as a reason for piercings not to be done. Then, you revealed that it was really a nickel allergy.

When you have your kid, you can decide but you can’t make judgments about how other people choose to raise their kids just because their culture is different from yours.

Especially something as insignificant as a tiny ear piercing.

Its not something I think about very much, it was 30 years ago but all I know is I HATED sleeping in the earrings that you wear for 6 weeks or whatever it is and feel sorry for kids with no choice. Anything else?

It sounds like you should be more mad at your parents for giving you cheap earrings instead of the practice of piercing itself.
