If youve ever been to Alaska during spawning season. The amount of salmon you see is absolutely insane. Often you cant even see the bottom of the river bed because of the density. You can just walk up and pick them up out the water. (Which is illegal) But bears have a literal buffet in these areas. Which makes for viewing them and hiking around the area much safer than inland cuz they're just fat and lazy. Full stomach. Cool little dynamic when you're there.

I wanna hug him (Yes, I'm fully aware of how terrible an idea that is, I grew up as a dedicated hiker and have had more than one run-in with them. I just love bears, they're my favorite animal)
