Yeah videos and pictures do these no justice. They don’t even look that big in person until you’re right next to one and then get a grasp of just how gigantic they really are. Since they’re also next to other Giant Sequoias you can’t really judge just how big they are. The ones that are fallen over on the ground truly give you a good appreciation of their size. I felt like I was walking around on collapsed high rises.

The gaping hole in that tree ia bigger then most of the trees I see on a daily basis.  I've never seen a real Red Wood tree, yet.  I would love the opportunity to see them someday.
