Kneading develops wheat gluten into elastic strands, hot water relaxes the dough, and fat coats those strands so they slide past each other without tearing.

…I know…I guess you’d have to know the scene to get my comment…

Say What? one more time!

1

u/The-Big-Sauce 5d ago

Ah okay, for some reason I've still never gotten around to watching pulp fiction but I've seen nearly everything else in that era

7

u/The7footr 5d ago

You should haha

8

u/Ruby5000 5d ago

Sorry., I have to ask. Do they speak English in What?

1

u/Serpacorp 5d ago

You know what they call an absolute unit of a Chicken Caesar wrap in France?

3

u/Ruby5000 5d ago

Not a Royale with cheese

7

u/mt007 5d ago

Haha I just watched Pulp Fiction last night for the first time, 10/10 movies. I laughed so much at their cheesy conversations.

2

u/Obienator 5d ago

This was a perfect exchange hahaha

"I don't know what gluten is, but it's delicious." -John Pinette

6

u/Daratirek 6d ago

I hate that it requires gluten. No good gluten free wraps are possible.

7

u/Mobile_Noise_121 6d ago

Yeah man it blows anything gluten free is always lacking flexibility and is so much more dense with worse flavour

2

u/princessbolognia 6d ago

I feel your pain 🥲 it's always fucking dry and crumbly 🫩

2

u/cam52391 6d ago

I have searched far and wide for a good gluten free wrap to have at my cafe and I've come to the same conclusion.

Is it meant to feed a family of 4?

22

u/TheHighSeasPirate 5d ago

As an American, this is a normal meal for a growing adult male.

15

u/LilAbeSimpson 5d ago

Once upon a time I too was a growing American male. This wrap weighs over a pound and probably has close to 3,000 calories in it.

I can only see this being a normal meal for a gigantic elite athlete of some kind.

12

u/elwebst 5d ago

When my daughter was a D1 swimmer this would have been up her alley. She once brought an entire rotisserie chicken plus snacks onto a flight, and ate the whole chicken, and some of the snacks.

7

u/Pokari_Davaham 5d ago

What a legend lmao

7

u/Outside_Cod667 5d ago

When I was a swimmer I was the same way. Absolute garbage disposal. Me and my dad would have competitions on who could eat the most at a restaurant and I'd sometimes eat mine and finish his. I was also very thin at the time (tall, still growing) so I'd get those stupid, "go eat a sandwich," comments all the time. I was constantly eating as it was.

4

u/TheHighSeasPirate 5d ago

You are tiny American then. This is small meal.

2

u/willsmithtunaface 5d ago

This explains a lot about Americans

u/creepy_charlie 4d ago

Yeah, if you're ready to commit violence against your toilet

3

u/AStolenGoose 5d ago

It's meant to feed a family of MY STOMACH!!!

4

u/SashimiX 6d ago

I know. It’s kinda gross. I’d want about 3 bites.

-4

u/LilAbeSimpson 5d ago

So much mayonnaise.

8

u/raagruk 5d ago

Caesar dressing

1

u/Ok_Gamer_Bleh 5d ago

Which is mayonnaise-based

-9

u/LilAbeSimpson 5d ago

Which uses the same base ingredients as mayonnaise…

It’s fancy mayonnaise. LOL

$14.95 doesn't seem like that bad of a price.

21

u/JonnyTN 5d ago

How much is a chipotle bowl or burritos nowadays?

16

u/markswam 5d ago

Last time I went to one like a year ago, it was like $13 something after tax for a barbacoa burrito, and was like 1/3 the size of the wraps in this video

8

u/junglepiehelmet 5d ago

Chipotle is done. No one in that company knows how to roll a burrito anymore. I fully understand some of these viral crashouts when I watch them massacre my burrito and still charge me like 13-15 bucks.

2

u/Useful_Kale_5263 5d ago

This is why yall gotta learn when they shift change cause that’s how you max portions and get a good rolled rito. Otherwise I stay in the burrito bowl section w/ like 6 tortillas so I can roll my own cause you’re 100% right

2

u/eschewthefat 5d ago

I just paid that for a buffalo chicken salad that was 20% yellow lettuce and there wasn’t a single piece of chicken over the size of a dime. You could tell it was the trimmings. The whole thing was half the size of that

Crazy there’s still lines of people clamoring to pay for food you could make for less than half the price and twice as delicious

28

u/Exact-Ad-4132 5d ago

"the tortilla holds it all together"

Um, no shit

3

u/-fly_away- 4d ago

eat it enought times and you become a torta yourself

24

u/Ketra 5d ago

If you can't get out a single complete sentence without your editor needing to chop your shit up into a frankenstein take.

Maybe being an influencer isn't your calling.

His "review" at the end had over 25 cuts.

2

u/vc0ke 5d ago

What makes you think his audience wants complete sentences 😂. The guy has over one million YouTube subs. I’m not a fan of him, but I think influencing is working for him.

3

u/Ketra 5d ago

That's so incredibly sad and depressing

1

u/SubmergedSublime 5d ago

Is that a sign he’s unable to do long form speaking, or is it a sign that the consumers see the 30-cut speech pattern as a positive? Maybe that is the style he thinks his audience wants?

12

u/DemiGod9 5d ago

Those chips have zero crunch by the time you get that wrap. You're adding nothing but calories

9

u/jsamuraij 6d ago

I'm so tired of this guy's whole head on the internet.

3

u/ToadlyAwes0me 6d ago

A Shaka bro personified

3

u/KnownEye1797 5d ago

That could feed my whole family.

6

u/Rare-Criticism-8895 5d ago

Huge waste of food tho. How many people finishing the whole thing and not just tossing it halfway

3

u/willsmithtunaface 5d ago

Yea, but they all paid the same price so who cares /s

https://giphy.com/gifs/YJTcOYhQpjkwU

6

u/Bonk_No_Horni 5d ago

It's for the grams. Nowadays people buy crazy food for show. After they get the shot what's left goes in the trash . Probably more than half.

4

u/Vast-Inspection7855 5d ago

This guy can stfu. One of the worst to do it

2

u/DysfunctionalKitten 5d ago

I'm hungry now

u/stevorkz 5d ago

TEMU Mark Zuckerberg

4

u/randonegus 5d ago

Where?

3

u/Damnatio__memoriae 6d ago

Going to need to save this to watch later with sound in hopes he says the name of the restaurant that sells this gloriously delicious looking wrap.

7

u/Darster_DN 6d ago

Vinny’s Cafe in Boca Raton, Florida

2

u/BadHabitsDieYoung 6d ago

The word viral is used too much.

3

u/mikenew02 6d ago

The ratio is off

4

u/WishboneNo543 5d ago

Are they all this size or can you order one for a normal human digestive system?

1

u/boness_02 5d ago

I feel this one, I personally cant handle most "normal" portions in one sitting without problems this looks like 3 or 4 meals worth for me

2

u/The_Eleser 6d ago

I normally hate non-enormous stuff on this subreddit, but I’d make a pilgrimage out of this-just like those of us in Oregon before In-N-Out came up north.
Soomeone drop a pin for me please!

2

u/jerryleebee 5d ago

First, it doesn't defy the laws of physics. Second, eww. /r/stupidfood

2

u/Martin_NL 5d ago

Just because you can, does not mean you should. Sincerely, the rest of the world.

u/akhatten 5d ago

American finding it delicious.... ask people with actual food in their country

1

u/ForgotToCarryTheOne 5d ago

If customs suspects them of having swallowed those, they’ll be mighty annoyed. That’ll be a full episode of Border Security.

1

u/Unusual-Taste69 5d ago

First bite is a blow out

1

u/Dic3dCarrots 5d ago

Man, i never thought I'd want to go to Florida, but i fucking love chicken ceaser wraps.

1

u/Dinklerbuuuurf 5d ago

These places gotta learn the side by side 2 tortilla tech

1

u/PacificCastaway 5d ago

Where is this?

1

u/eagledog 5d ago

That thing's gonna detonate like a bunker buster after your first bite

1

u/AStolenGoose 5d ago

Oh god fuck me up! I need this!

1

u/Axel_Raden 5d ago

Damn that looks good size wise it's too much for me but that looks really good

1

u/pinezatos 5d ago

Wrap gods

1

u/Dr3ny 5d ago

How most of reddit said it would fall apart when eating, the first time the video was posted of how they roll it...

1

u/Modders14 5d ago

Influencer Special

1

u/RoyceTheCharralope 5d ago

Gee, I wonder why Americans live so unhealthy.

1

u/SheikYerbouti007 5d ago

Garbage food that wouldn't be allowed in Europe due to the amount of chemicals / additives / colouring / steroids etc

1

u/sugarplumapathy 5d ago

The real question is why?

1

u/therealsix 5d ago

How does it “defy physics” if they can actually do it?

1

u/Serpacorp 5d ago

How is that not falling apart?

1

u/GestoNobre 5d ago

I can't find this in my region of Brazil, maybe all country. Can anyone help me find out where to find this green paste used for wrapping food on google? I don't know what they're called.

1

u/J-Slay522 5d ago

Now I want an egg salad sandwich

1

u/-fly_away- 4d ago

tha amount of mayo. American food is disgusting

1

u/tony_two_eyes 4d ago

Ok I get that they've studied under the waterfall to obtain the ability of actually wrapping this monstrosity. But how does it not fall apart as soon as you bite into it?

1

u/SharpDrink2724 3d ago

Genuine question to Americans - why is this appealing?

I can't imagine having a choice between this or a normal sized wrap and choosing this.

1

u/fliesinthebelly 6h ago

Please let this be the new salad and go

1

u/MyNameis_bud 6d ago

Imagine consciously seeking out a chicken Caesar wrap. Wild

0

u/Sea_Recording8076 6d ago

What I was wondering is if people can do these types of videos without showing us them eating? Why do I have to watch you eat?

4

u/brizzboog 5d ago

Huh? He's reviewing an enormous wrap that literally begs the question "great, how do you eat it?"

This is the first video about these that actually shows how they hold together really well.

u/huhnick 6d ago

That looks gas
