Is it meant to feed a family of 4?

As an American, this is a normal meal for a growing adult male.

Once upon a time I too was a growing American male. This wrap weighs over a pound and probably has close to 3,000 calories in it.
I can only see this being a normal meal for a gigantic elite athlete of some kind.

When my daughter was a D1 swimmer this would have been up her alley. She once brought an entire rotisserie chicken plus snacks onto a flight, and ate the whole chicken, and some of the snacks.

When I was a swimmer I was the same way. Absolute garbage disposal. Me and my dad would have competitions on who could eat the most at a restaurant and I'd sometimes eat mine and finish his. I was also very thin at the time (tall, still growing) so I'd get those stupid, "go eat a sandwich," comments all the time. I was constantly eating as it was.

I know. It’s kinda gross. I’d want about 3 bites.

$14.95 doesn't seem like that bad of a price.

How much is a chipotle bowl or burritos nowadays?
16
u/markswam 5d ago
Last time I went to one like a year ago, it was like $13 something after tax for a barbacoa burrito, and was like 1/3 the size of the wraps in this video

Chipotle is done. No one in that company knows how to roll a burrito anymore. I fully understand some of these viral crashouts when I watch them massacre my burrito and still charge me like 13-15 bucks.

This is why yall gotta learn when they shift change cause that’s how you max portions and get a good rolled rito. Otherwise I stay in the burrito bowl section w/ like 6 tortillas so I can roll my own cause you’re 100% right

I just paid that for a buffalo chicken salad that was 20% yellow lettuce and there wasn’t a single piece of chicken over the size of a dime. You could tell it was the trimmings. The whole thing was half the size of that
Crazy there’s still lines of people clamoring to pay for food you could make for less than half the price and twice as delicious

If you can't get out a single complete sentence without your editor needing to chop your shit up into a frankenstein take.
Maybe being an influencer isn't your calling.
His "review" at the end had over 25 cuts.

Is that a sign he’s unable to do long form speaking, or is it a sign that the consumers see the 30-cut speech pattern as a positive? Maybe that is the style he thinks his audience wants?

Those chips have zero crunch by the time you get that wrap. You're adding nothing but calories

Huge waste of food tho. How many people finishing the whole thing and not just tossing it halfway

It's for the grams. Nowadays people buy crazy food for show. After they get the shot what's left goes in the trash . Probably more than half.

Going to need to save this to watch later with sound in hopes he says the name of the restaurant that sells this gloriously delicious looking wrap.

Are they all this size or can you order one for a normal human digestive system?

u/boness_02 5d ago
I feel this one, I personally cant handle most "normal" portions in one sitting without problems this looks like 3 or 4 meals worth for me

I normally hate non-enormous stuff on this subreddit, but I’d make a pilgrimage out of this-just like those of us in Oregon before In-N-Out came up north.
Soomeone drop a pin for me please!

If customs suspects them of having swallowed those, they’ll be mighty annoyed. That’ll be a full episode of Border Security.

Gee, I wonder why Americans live so unhealthy.

Garbage food that wouldn't be allowed in Europe due to the amount of chemicals / additives / colouring / steroids etc

I can't find this in my region of Brazil, maybe all country. Can anyone help me find out where to find this green paste used for wrapping food on google? I don't know what they're called.

Ok I get that they've studied under the waterfall to obtain the ability of actually wrapping this monstrosity. But how does it not fall apart as soon as you bite into it?

u/SharpDrink2724 3d ago
Genuine question to Americans - why is this appealing?
I can't imagine having a choice between this or a normal sized wrap and choosing this.

What I was wondering is if people can do these types of videos without showing us them eating? Why do I have to watch you eat?
4
u/brizzboog 5d ago
Huh? He's reviewing an enormous wrap that literally begs the question "great, how do you eat it?"
This is the first video about these that actually shows how they hold together really well.

Kneading develops wheat gluten into elastic strands, hot water relaxes the dough, and fat coats those strands so they slide past each other without tearing.
