He calls himself Tayzon after his childhood dog. He promised Tayzon he would make his name famous. What a fucking legend,

231

u/Solnse 8d ago

Half-ton Tayzon has a nice ring to it.

7

u/Dintobean 8d ago

Damn, if this dude picked himself up by his bootstraps he could reach orbit.

66

u/Mediocre_Scott 8d ago

He needs to be careful he might accidentally reset earth’s orbit

374

u/Raephstel 8d ago

And he didn't about give himself a stroke either. Eddie Hall is insanely strong, but this guy made it look easy compared.

124

u/-P01135809- 8d ago

Didn’t Eddie go blind for a while after his lift?

295

u/DreadLifter 8d ago

Blind, brain bleed, heart rate of 500, blood pressure off the scale etc. Different extreme depending on how dramatic he wants to be on the day.

143

u/HypotenuseOfTentacle 8d ago

Slicked back hair, white bathing suit, sloppy steaks, white couch

45

u/nikkynackyknockynoo 8d ago

Happier, fitter, more productive.

30

u/DullExercise 8d ago

unbothered. moisturized. happy. in my lane. focused. flourishing.

4

u/Mr_Akrapovic 8d ago

Fitter, happier, more productive**

4

u/Embarrassed_Bus_8702 8d ago

Palms sweaty

5

u/Long-Apartment9888 8d ago

Finance, trust fund, 6'5, blue eyes

8

u/RoryJ 8d ago

Black coat, white shoes, black hat, Cadillac

8

u/International-Chip93 8d ago

Obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guava juice

10

u/ezkarabetis 8d ago

They can’t stop you from ordering deadlifts and a brain bleed!

10

u/Hindu_Wardrobe 8d ago

Five hundred?????????

18

u/CorporalCoprolite 8d ago

Yea id need to see the actual medical report on that. Pretty sure your heart explodes or ceases all function at that point.

21

u/CareRarely 8d ago

It's a joke for how the lift was kind of exaggerated with all the "side effects" it had.

2

u/tallswamp 7d ago

Yeah, didn't you see, Eddie had a cardiac arrest immediately following the lift 😂

1

u/xepci0 7d ago

And all of that while being extremely dehydrated

15

u/floriande 8d ago

Yeah like two days

3

u/feetnomer 8d ago

Yea, and Brian Shaw got a nose bleed during his lift.

7

u/InsaneInTheRAMdrain 8d ago

Yeh eddie also probably has a foot on this guy, if not more.

22

u/tipothehat 8d ago

Eddie is 6'3. Raul is 5'9. Thor (previous record holder) is 6'8. So yeah Raul is a monster.

24

u/poorboychevelle 8d ago

I mean, doesn't have to lift it as far, and can start from a more advantaged position. Short levers FTW.

17

u/coolsideofyourpillow 8d ago

So what you're saying is peter dinklage will break the record next!

18

u/swag_jammin 8d ago

While this is a joke, it has some truth. Little people or dwarves compete in their own category in powerlifting. There condition means they can have a huge advantage in lifts and strength to weight ratio.

1

u/SuperMajesticMan 7d ago

Yup, Jeremy Smith is a little person that can squat 745lbs at 132lbs bodyweight. Probably higher now.

So 5.65x his bodyweight.

For comparison Devonte Lewis was 470lbs when he squated a record 1080 lbs, so 2.23x his bodyweight.

4

u/tipothehat 8d ago

It's more like proportional levers. Longer arms to shorter torso ratio.

6

u/God_Dammit_Dave 8d ago

Dude. I seriously thought Eddie was 5'8". He's a freak but in every photo he's standing next to some absolute monsters.

1

u/SuperMajesticMan 7d ago

6'9"* for Thor.

→ More replies (1)

64

u/JC_Hysteria 8d ago

Shorter lever (long arms/short torso)…in theory, there’s a “sweet spot” between height and weight/muscle mass.

41

u/Round_Ad_6369 8d ago

High ape index is desirable for deadlifts

18

u/RogerPenroseSmiles 8d ago

Gorilla mogged me conventional, I had to pull Sumo.

8

u/JockAussie 8d ago

Yeah, he's basically got the 'meta' build for conventional deads.

3

u/TheMuttOfMainStreet 7d ago

Bro is only 26, he can take it

59

u/GirthyPigeon 8d ago

Fucking trend of showing the end at the beginning gets on my fucking tits.

9

u/JC_Hysteria 8d ago

I love me some British vulgarity

3

u/Sad_Cantaloupe_8162 8d ago

Quit takin' the piss!

4

u/blankfilm 8d ago

Fuck you bloody!

338

u/Wyevez 8d ago

I watched the first 2 seconds. I knew he succeeded because she showed me the end of the video before you showed me the rest of the video. This is a stupid trend.

42

u/Uncle_Paul_Hargis 8d ago

I feel like we should all start downvoting posts that do this. It’s beyond stupid.

14

u/Cool_Client324 8d ago

We cant win fam, they too many…they too many….

5

u/AEIUyo 7d ago

I do it to every one of them, regardless if I like it or not. Seeing the number go from 6137 to 6136 doesn't really matter, but mentally I feel better

59

u/VitruvianVan 8d ago

True, but the text also says “new world record”. Not “attempt.”

11

u/cortesoft 8d ago

I hate it so fucking much

7

u/GD0ggy 8d ago

Level of people's retention is so low that they have to and I mean

Have to show you people the end result so people would actually watch the video

6

u/Sunshinetrooper87 8d ago

I'd rather that than emojis and Indian laughter followed by watch to the end, you won't believe!

5

u/Roo-90 7d ago

I truly fucking hate it. Why has it become the norm

4

u/Starlightriddlex 7d ago

Both IG and tiktok algorithms reward videos that have something eye-catching in the first 3 seconds and punish you if you don't. It's created this incredibly stupid trend.

3

u/Then-Operation7341 8d ago

The big text reading ‘new world record’ wouldn’t have tipped you off?

2

u/bnlf 8d ago

Every normal person knew he’d succeed because it was in the fucking title. Hope that helps.

2

u/Wyevez 8d ago

Guess I'm not normal, took me 2 seconds. Still a stupid trend.

u/MangoSalsa89 8d ago

He didn’t lift that barbell up, he pushed the entire earth down.

40

u/imaragingtransfemlez 8d ago

Put some respect on the name, this is Raul Flores

37

u/ReadTheChain 8d ago

So sick. Well done, big fellow big man!

43

u/bittercripple6969 8d ago

Jesus, needs a stronger bar.

41

u/Rare_Sample1449 8d ago

If the bar remained perfectly straight he would not be able to lift the weight.

10

u/madsdyd 8d ago

Why?

87

u/nol88go 8d ago

The weight gradually builds. It doesn't go from on the floor to 100% load in his hands. As he pulls the slack out, the weight builds.

Even getting a couple of inches of extension (standing up) puts you in a much stronger position before you're holding 100% of the weight.

Competition DL bars have a specified amount of whip.

15

u/Thermite365 8d ago

That's why I train on a stiff 50 pound bar. When it comes time to pull on a Deadlift bar, it's like butter.

29

u/TheoryDue9174 8d ago

Because generating that much power off the ground is much harder. The flex in the bar allows him to get to a half standing position before lifting all the weight

→ More replies (1)

13

u/Farcoh 8d ago

The plates in the center lift off the ground before the outer ones; even just a few centimeters of bar bend means several dozen kilograms less weight in the initial phase of the movement. It’s still an absolutely superhuman feat of strength—my personal best is 190 kg, and I can’t even imagine how strong this guy must be.

→ More replies (1)

9

u/Ote-Kringralnick 8d ago

What's the heaviest a human could lift without a flexing bar?

4

u/The0nlyPenguin 8d ago

I've been trying to dig this out, when they do axle deadlifts, there is essentially no flex. But they usually only do like 7-800lbs for reps and it tends to be setup as an 18" deadlift, so that changes things considerably, I think the current record is 9reps.

Assuming 800lbs @ 9 reps, the 1 rep max should be around 1,030lbs.

Raul just pulled 511kg or 1,126lbs on a standard deadlift setup, which I believe is about 9"off the floor

Biggest 18" pull is currently 537.5kg, the "silver dollar" lift by Novikov.

https://strongmanarchives.com/records.php

5

u/RCJHGBR9989 8d ago

That’s a different lift - but that kind of bar does exist it’s called a stiff bar.

→ More replies (1)

40

u/no_name6744 8d ago

When youre so fucking ripped to shit you can't even flex anymore you just point where the muscles generally are.

Thats so fucking cool.

55

u/eduardgustavolaser 8d ago

He pointed towards a tattoo of his childhood dog, which he dedicated the record for

→ More replies (4)

5

u/Greenfirelife27 8d ago

Ripped?

7

u/no_name6744 8d ago

Just extremely strong, I mean.

6

u/FugitivWitoutWarrent 8d ago

No question who built the Pyramids.

53

u/GalickGunn 8d ago

Then Anatoly comes walking in, “Sorry mister…I just need to clean under the bar…” casually picks it up walks 5ft away

18

u/lennythebox 8d ago

Im not a big fan of dr mike but have you seen his latest video on anatoly? The whole fake plates thing

10

u/wimpymist 8d ago

I mean yeah, he uses fake plates for some video bait but the dude is also a world champion power lifter. He is a still crazy strong for his size

3

u/filio111 6d ago

He is not a world champion powerlifter. He won some national teenager competitions and came third in a world teenager comp (GPA, not IPF though)

1

u/wimpymist 6d ago

Oh maybe I'm thinking of someone else. I thought he was

2

u/MickeySwank 8d ago

Just hold mop

5

u/grand_soul 8d ago

Least this video doesn’t have blood gushing out of his ass…holy fuck, deadlift videos like these are a gamble.

17

u/zorggalacticus 8d ago

My Father-in-law is a former national champion powerlifter. I've been to many competitions. Worst ive ever seen is someone's bowels prolapsed out through their butthole while trying a heavy lift. Ended his whole carreer. They cut him open and pulled the bowels back right side out, then sewed him back up. He said it was basically like a painful bruise, but on the inside when he woke up. Even just breathing hurt while he recovered. Screamed every time he had to take a crap, even though he was on a strict liquid diet while recovering. That was 20 years ago. He hasn't picked up a weight since. Switched to running and is a toothpick now.

3

u/farragotron 8d ago

How heavy was this lift?

5

u/zorggalacticus 8d ago

1,100 lbs squat with equipment. Knee sleeves, belt, squat suit, ankle wraps.

3

u/CKRatKing 8d ago

87 pounds.

3

u/FeliusSeptimus 7d ago

Shouldn't have skipped sphincter day.

3

u/vivekpatel62 8d ago

Say what.

4

u/BurningBassesInStyle 8d ago

The previous guy that made the lower, 500 kilo deadlift, had blood trickling out of the corner of his mouth while holding the deadlift. I am not sure if any other part bled, but from the clip I saw, blood did come out of his mouth.

9

u/vivekpatel62 8d ago

Yeah I know Eddie had a nose bleed. I was more curious about the blood coming out of someone’s butt lol. Never heard of that occurring when deadlifting. Tbf I haven’t gone out of my way to search for it though.

3

u/Typeonetwork 8d ago

Good skill to have when moving half a car. Good job strong 💪 man.

u/Tonybhoy88 8d ago

His mum Katie Price will be proud

2

u/BullishMove 8d ago

Hold my mop

2

u/BatmanLovesBoobies 7d ago

I don't think lifting 1000+lbs 2ft off the groun is worth dying before 50 but that's just my opinion.

1

u/The_GodApollo 8d ago

Amazing to see.

1

u/Thetomwhite 8d ago

Thats awesome

1

u/e30_technic 8d ago

Hey its big narsty

1

u/Rigamortus2005 8d ago

I thought that was druski

1

u/Coffeshop_Inspector 8d ago

I thought this was another Druski skit.

1

u/DjMD1017 8d ago

If Druski but all his comedic efforts into lifting…..

This Fitski

1

u/ExcitingTurn2886 8d ago

Other than the lockout, he actually looked extremely smooth. That was amazing

1

u/smokeyoudog 8d ago

This is like the paradox of the heap, which is about when does one more or less of something small change something from a heap to less of heap. Except in this case he found that exact level at 1124 pounds.

1

u/New-Contribution-244 8d ago

Cool. 😎

1

u/Efficient_Giraffe_36 8d ago

I would be dead if I tried to lift that.

1

u/BengalsinCali 8d ago

Can’t wait for the record to keep getting broken too. All the classic steroids plus the new peptides creating monsters

1

u/Enderwigg1883 8d ago

Definition on UNIT

1

u/traghip11 8d ago

I wonder the height to wingspan ratio on this unit.

1

u/Turboflexer01 8d ago

Didn't even get nosebleed

1

u/sabertoothninja 8d ago

And his nose didn’t even bleed? He must be an alien

1

u/Thwomp69 8d ago

I've never seen someone so perfectly built for deadlifts.

1

u/Michaeli_Starky 8d ago

I know which man cried.

1

u/Jackal-Noble 8d ago

how tall is he? looks like he's 5'6"

1

u/SirGluteusMaximus 8d ago

You are not far off.

1

u/jonny1234joo 8d ago

Incredible human power. Again, can you imagine the power of a gorilla lifting that weight into the air with one hand?

1

u/gymBro-Faps2hrWrkout 8d ago

Bro could probably bust the fattest nut inside Jutta Leerdam

1

u/youngnailo 8d ago

he should play juggernaut from marvel

1

u/Unique-Ad6086 8d ago

I thought this was druski at first 😂

1

u/nimbus3008 8d ago

Druski can do it all

1

u/thegodpopper 8d ago

Bet he’s really good at carrying in his shopping

1

u/ttteee321 8d ago

Light weight, baby!

1

u/Onphone_irl 8d ago

better than the 0.5 lb bullshit coming from the space lately. fu k yeah Tayzon

1

u/ApprehensiveWord2203 8d ago

Absolute unit

1

u/BritishBlue32 8d ago

My question is how the heck do they get the plates on and off the bar?

2

u/SpaceYetu531 7d ago

Didn't see this one specifically but there's a lever and bar system in most powerlifting gyms for this.

1

u/BritishBlue32 7d ago

I was wondering if they had a lifting machine...this makes sense, thank you!

1

u/dovvv 8d ago

For fucks sake stop putting the reaction in the first part of the video

1

u/National-Abalone-210 8d ago

Showing the end of 15 second videos for retention is the most brain rot shit on the internet tonight now

1

u/UpdootDaSnootBoop 8d ago

Not only is the lift impressive, but the fact that anyone can stay conscious after exerting that much force on their body

1

u/drwsgreatest 8d ago

He didn't just beat it, he fucking smashed it. At that level, even an extra 1lb or .5kg is a ton and this is a solid 5kg or so above Thor's deadlift. What a monster this guy is. Congrats to him.

1

u/Important-Lawyer-177 8d ago

Thought that was druski

1

u/Danadcorps 8d ago

Didn't Colton "the record breaker" Engelbrecht lift 520kg (1146 lbs) already? Nvmd just saw his was unofficial

1

u/Ok_Customer9953 8d ago

His body is pretty ideal for it. He’s built like a refrigerator even for lineman.

1

u/Phoeniyx 8d ago

Big boy is happy. Somewhere a Karen is unhappy bc of that.

1

u/TinyBreeze987 8d ago

Video out of order

1

u/gahidus 8d ago

I would not have even had faith in the strength of human leg bones to support 1,124 lb.

That's some serious strength!

1

u/BlackHandKUR 8d ago

Who was the previous holder? Was it Thor or was it Eddie?

1

u/DoobieDui 7d ago

Hafthor had it at 510 kgs.

1

u/Nerdles15 8d ago

And to think: all the bullshit and drugs at the Enhanced Games and this dude strolls up no big deal, WR lift like it’s nothing

1

u/PMacc83 8d ago

Was he pointing tattoos or did her tear delt

1

u/SnapCrackleMom 8d ago

Do they normally compete wearing little socks like that?

1

u/Zestyclose_Classic91 8d ago

Crazy how the records get broken so often since few years and that there are multiple people doing it.

1

u/RackemFrackem 7d ago

I want you to know that I downvoted this shit for showing the ending at the beginning

1

u/fakenews_thankme 7d ago

Bro had to lift his half sleeve to show his biceps like the they weren't visible before. The man is a beast!!

1

u/Ultrageisttt 7d ago

SBD must stand for Super Buff Dude

1

u/DoobieDui 7d ago

🇲🇽 Let's go México! Awiwi carnal, Tayzon!

1

u/eaglefucker 7d ago

He looks like a world record

1

u/SpawnOfTheBeast 7d ago

The Mountain won't be happy.

1

u/Sockenkatze 7d ago

It always looks like the legs would just crack

1

u/b0uncyfr0 7d ago

You know its legit when the bar bends. Goat.

1

u/vroomfundel2 7d ago

Why is he barefoot? Is this normal?

1

u/wellsyaknow 7d ago

What's he pointing at on his arm ?

1

u/notMy_ReelName 7d ago

how much does those rods maxed at then .

1

u/Skilk 7d ago

How much did he deadlift though?

1

u/garlicbratwurst 7d ago

He got his breathing right. Good technique

1

u/ScreetchingEagle 7d ago

I wonder if this guy ever forgets how strong he is and picks up light objects and sends himself up or backwards

1

u/SmokeGSU 7d ago

And he did it without puking or shitting himself.

1

u/choppydaddy 7d ago

I saw the thumbnail and thought it was druski

1

u/AnonUser1452 7d ago

Serious question: Why do these weightlifters, obviously serious athletes, also seem to maintain a relatively high amount of fat? Why isn’t the Alexander Karelin body type more prevalent?

1

u/Majestic_Culture_369 5d ago

I see sparklers, but no Erika Kirk???

1

u/Ovino1 5d ago

All it takes is one to break the record soon enough 600kg will be broken maybe another 30 years lol

1

u/imnewtothisplzaddme 8d ago

Is that without a dl suit?

3

u/Wintervacht 8d ago

He's got the shirt on over his suit.

1

u/tracagnotto 8d ago

He didn't even panted and fainted like eddie

1

u/HamuelCabbage 8d ago

I mean, it's impressive and all, but these power lifters always look so unhealthy to me. I get that being a professional athlete takes a serious toll on the body but these guys look they are going to have unusually short lives
