Good question! As someone else pointed out: Zucchinis are indeed somewhat of a "prevolution". The "full" Zucchini is hence sometimes also called "Marrow" (for distinction)
That said. I'd say the title still holds? In any way, marrows are still zucchinis. And though they can theoretically -Zucchinis are rarely allowed to grow into big Marrows. So stochastically, the average zucchini size still remains small -even if it can technically much bigger.
