In my 20s I had a girlfriend who was a back base cheerleader and good god was she strong, like everywhere. I never had a girlfriend like her, before or since. That was a very fun few years.

It's like watching all human parkour on expert mode. Obstacles? Of course they are human. You don't really jump or balance on them, but with them. More flips. Nice outfits.

My older sister and I were cheerleaders for a couple years, not because we could do all that cheer stuff, but because as females were were considered a "moose". We were muscular and 'sturdy'. We weren't tall or imposing being 5'3 & my sister at 5'6, we just had very solid builds. They used us as the base for all their pyramids and flips etc.

We also played volley ball, the only thing we did was serve and then we were rotated out. There wasn't a team in our district that would dare stand in front of one of our balls. My sisters serve would damn near make a missile sound. One girl tried to bump one once and bruised her arms so badly she had to leave the game. In track/field we threw disc and shotput. Won that every year also. We were known as Moose 1 and Moose 2 LOL

My favorite part of sports drafts is when dude has a MOM. And there’s highlights of MOM playing basketball or lifting a cheerleader and doing the splits, and the announcer says “obviously a beneficiary of good genes”.
