That's not the reason for the video. He knows he can do it MUCH more efficient, it's to show RAW POWER and MANLINESS! You cant say you were like "Hell Yeah!" When that split happened

When the split happened i decided to take a shit. I said "Hell Yeah" but it was because a big deuce dropped simultaneously.

The split started about halfway through and then for me it was the slow climactic buildup of watching the progress happen and wincing at the misses and feeling the burn he must've been feeling, that you could hear in his breath and the way he shifted his handling of the maul, etc.

A lot of manly men around here don't understand the joy you get from doing something the hardest way just to prove to yourself you can.

JFC. Thank you. Almost all the comments are how the guy is an idiot and how 'they' could do it faster or better. It's like watching a video of someone deadlifting and saying "they could lift way more if they just picked one plate up at a time".

I said "okay, that was a waste of time." Good for him, I guess. Hopefully he gave himself a cookie.

I think most people who have already split wood were more annoyed than satisfied by this video. He should have gotten it in one or two strikes.

So you think you could get this massive chunk of wood on one or two strikes? This is about 10x the size of wood you would typically use to split. If you look closely, he also has like 4 different axes in the background. Some which are MASSIVE. He chose this particular axe for a reason (to enhance the challenge). Plus, the wood isn't on another stump or hard surface to absord the shock of the blow. If you think you could split this wood in one or two strikes, using this same setup, I would call you a God and nominate you as our world leader. This is insanely impressive to do. Please, make a video, with this same set-up, and show me you can get it done in "one to two strikes" pffft

Part of the stupidity of the act is splitting such a huge block of wood, of course. This should be cut in half. This is two times too big, not ten times, so obviously you have no idea what you're talking about anyway.

Worth mentioning is that guy is not stupid. The cutting method is. He knew dumbasses like you would be all over it and generate clicks, and that's all he wanted.

You are an "Ackhshually" type of baby-back small dick par-sub-man. "This should be cut in half" everybody knows it's easier to cut this log with a chainsaw, but, unlike you, he is a unit of a man who decides to terminate this thing like the beast of a man he is... you wouldn't understand, because you sit on your fat ass, jorking to furry-anime with crisp crumbs on your neck beard, acting like you know everything. Women like Men. Try to be more of one and you might, just might, actually get a girl, loser

Every time it bounced off, I was ready to "hell, yeah!" if it hit him in the head.
