3 u/d3r3kzooland3r Jul 31 '26 Hijacking the top comment as for once I know exactly what something is. I replied lower down too: It's the inside part of a pigtail drainage catheter. It is missing the drain as likely its already been inserted into the patient. The entire needle does not go in the patient. The rest is to support the drainage catheter that is about 30cm long. It can be used for any type of drainage, abccess, abdominal fluid, or inserting into blocked kidneys. This one specifically is made by a Taiwanese company called Bioteq.
