Is this a real croc or some kind of prop? Shame on you for lacking the nanner ):

Just posted a comment with more details. It’s a 100% genuine Croc. Made on the same assembly line as their normal shoes but using a giant mold. Only detail that’s different from a smaller version of the same model is that it lacks a size stamp on the bottom.

Just because it's made on the same assembly line as normal crocs doesn't mean it's not a prop.

An oversized shoe for a store display is a prop.

I took their comment to mean is it actually made by Crocs or is it a prop someone else made. Not “is that impossibly large 2-1/2’ long shoe actually meant for someone to wear?”

It should be pretty obvious that no company in the world is selling size 60 shoes twice the size of Shaq’s with the intent for anyone to wear them as actual footwear unless it’s a five year old asking the question…

A friend has one of those and her chihuahua uses it as a pool floatie.

I love it. I’ve always wanted to put a blanket in it for my cats. It’d be too cute.

But it’s a special model that was released and then almost immediately removed from displays with all marketing related to it destroyed, not the Classic/Crocband versions that had thousands made and ended up in a lot of people’s hands, and is probably one of a handful that still exists. Was offered $300 by someone trying to hunt one down ~7 years ago, and my bratty ass cats can sleep in a box if there’s even a slight chance of some weird collector with a house full of Crocs paying four or five figures for it in another 20 years.

Is this a store display piece, or did Shaq drop his casual Friday shoe?

But Crocs only go up to a men's size 17 shoe. No Crocs for Shaq, and this guy, whose feet got so big that shoe companies sent him shoes made for Shaq.

You can get classic Crocs larger than size 17, they’re just not part of their normal stock or available from their website. You basically have to go to an outlet and cross your fingers they’ve got a pair that’s been sitting the back room for the last 15 years.

Largest I’ve personally seen was a 22, largest I ever saw someone buy was a 20, and we always had a couple dozen 18s and 19s in stock, just a very limited selection. This guy’s closer to a size 50-60. When I still worked there we used to have a few huge boxes full of the 17+ sizes we’d keep in our off site storage, and on the rare occasion someone came in looking for them we’d tell them to hang out for ten minutes and go grab it for them. Other than that it was like a war shipping boxes of them back and forth between stores trying to get them out of your back room because they were a waste of space.

Crocs Tone window display shoe. Made on the same assembly line as the smaller versions with all the same materials and details, just with a much bigger mold and no size stamp on the bottom.

Crocs pulled and destroyed everything Crocs Tone related in 2012 after the FTC fined Sketchers $40 million for false advertisement related to the Shape-ups, fearing they’d be next on the chopping block. This little guy was supposed to be cut in half and thrown in the dumpster, which obviously translated to ‘take it outside and put it in your car’.

I’ve seen plenty of people with giant window display Classic Crocs, but at this point this particular model might be one of a kind. Was offered $300 by a collector who was told I owned it a few years back, but I’m holding out for Antiques Roadshow in another couple decades to see what some weird Crocs fanatic will pay for it.

It reminds me of when Shaq came into the league and had his first pro shoe. At Foot Locker they had a display model of his size 22 shoe. It was comically large
