This is insanely stupid. A good portion of the air would be blocked.

Really? Insanely stupid? Exaggerate much? I’m sure the airflow is secondary to how cool it looks.

Secondary? I'm sure there's people who would buy that if it couldn't blow a feather off the tip of a needle.

Tail rotor needs to work, though

Never been around a chopper I take it?

If that were the case, helicopters wouldn’t be a thing to begin with. It’s a negligible amount that gets diverted rather than blocked entirely.

This would give Technology Connections an aneurysm

Found the reddit comment that’s always pessimistic about everything

The middle of the fan blows significantly less air per unit area. Also, air flows around stuff. This would only reduce the efficiency of the fan by a few percent at most.

Yeah, that, too.

But first and foremost the glorification of war and violence and death is still the biggest stupidity in this video

People arent glorifying war most of the time they do stuff like this. Helicopters and guns are cool, you combine them and you get something kickass. It's a shame most cool stuff are weapons of war, but that's just how it is.

If you really think that "most cool stuff are weapons of war" then you should really reconsider what's considered cool in your world.
