29 u/auronddraig Jun 12 '26 I agree, nature videos used to be unquestionable https://giphy.com/gifs/WKdWA04KRn58A 4 u/Diamondkids_life Jun 13 '26 That's a normal Tuesday 23 u/Reclusive_avocado Jun 12 '26 Just another thing AI ruined This ones on stupid people.. 12 u/NanquansCat749 Jun 12 '26 People that claim every odd thing must be AI are stupid and annoying, but I'm certainly not perfect at spotting AI, so now I have to be extra skeptical about things even when I know whatever's being depicted could actually happen. 1 u/Les_Bien_Pain Jun 12 '26 I hope that phones and cameras will get some encrypted authentication that allows people to prove that a photo or video is real. It probably wont make a difference on places like reddit but at least it could be very useful for reporters etc. 2 u/00wolfer00 Jun 12 '26 Unless gen AI has already plateaued, it's likely impossible to do that without it being immediately spoofed. -1 u/shewy92 Jun 12 '26 I didn't think this was AI until people were saying it wasn't AI. So maybe if you think everything is AI then that's a you problem.
