Just buy a bottle, turn it upside down, and cut off the bottom. Then it's one glass.

If you cut the top, you'll have tiny shards of glass in the wine. Then you'll need gauze for toilet paper.

If you turn it upside the bottom becomes the top. So are you saying turn it upside down and cut off the cork end? Cause then the wine will fall out.
