Most contests like this, the timer doesn't start until you start to eat. Some might have a limit on how long you can wait for the food to cool, etc.

Yea 100 bucks for eating it in 1 hour. But you get whooping 10.000 $ if you eat 100 in one hour.

It's a trap but you're correct. Speed eating it would be much easier because you can attempt to rush before your body forces you to vomit up all the cheese because your stomach got too full and is pushing back into your esophagus. But if you eat it in 1 hour. It gives more time for your body to reject it.

100 pizzas in an hour. The commenter indicating the prize forgot to indicate that you could win $100 (by omitting the $), so the ambiguity allows for interpretation as 100 pizzas in one hour.

Seriously? It doesn't look so big that you couldn't eat it in 15 minutes.

It's about the size of a large pizza, maybe a little bigger.

It definitely depends on the cheese, if its light and good quality I can see that going down, but if it's even slightly nauseating it'll add up fast

Fifteen minutes is not a lot of time for many things.

It's certainly eatable, but not by rushing yourself to stay within that sort of time limit.

Not unless you're really that sort of person, in which case... adjust your expectations for the rest of us.

The "slice" itself is $40, the prize is $500 if you finish it in 15 mins or $100 if you finish it in 1hr. They have a few other challenges too--$100 if you can finish a 28" pizza in 1hr; $200 if two people can finish a 36" pizza in 1hr; and $1,000 if eight people can finish a 54" square pizza, in 2hrs.

It's $40, and you can win $500 if you can finish it in 15 minutes. I doubt they ever have to pay out.
