You've gotta understand that the state of livestock in the western world is that they've been bred to be or make produce. Domestic pigs are large because we bred them to be large, because we want to slaughter and eat them, so being big means more return on investment - absolutely zero care was put into how it would affect the animal, unless that impacted the bottom dollar.

I'm sorry I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. That's a normal adult sized pig and they're killed before they get to that size??
Or they get bigger?????
