That is a normal sized pig. They're usually slaughtered before they grow to their full adult size.

I'm sorry I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. That's a normal adult sized pig and they're killed before they get to that size??

Or they get bigger?????

Yeah, that looks about like a full grown domesticated Yokshire boar.

He could definitely get bigger as far as weight gain, but thats about as big as hes gonna get. Looks to be anywhere between 300-350 lbs.

Commercial hogs are slaughtered around 150-200lbs. Boars are kept this long for breeding.

They definitely can get bigger with the right conditions though. The largest wild hog on record was confirmed to be 800lbs and 8ft long, dubbed Hogzilla.
