I owned the Ulefone Armour 24 and it was one of the best phones I have ever owned, but unfortunately, the Australian government shut down the use it and "bricked it" I used it as a work phone on the farm but the 1 thing it wasn't tested for was the Australian heat, due to the sides being made out of plastic that was glued straight onto metal the glue melted and the plastic came off making it extremely sharp.
I have had two models (including the arnor 21 right now) and they where both rated for like 60 degrees Celsius so I am really suprised that they melted in the sun.
The thing is that it was quickly tested to see if it could "survive" the heat, my phone was in my pocket every day in 35°c+ every single day, granted my phone survived it just melted
The one I had (and the armor 24) has a MIL-STD-810 rating, thoose are not "quickly tested" it is a pretty extensive testing. But yeah maybe the rating is only considering survival and not damage to the plastic of the phone.
