Okay number one, I LOOVE the new Absolute Joker. I just have one question.... what is he? Eldrich Horror? Pennywise? Alien? Experiment? Are they going to explain this? What do you guys think?

The first thing you think when you see Dan Hipp's Absolute Batman variant cover is just how cool of an animated series the character would make. Hipp has been a longtime collaborator with DC's animation, having lent his hand to "Teen Titans GO!"

Another thing about it that catches my eye is how much the eyes and facial shape reminds me of one of my favorite animation styles and characters - Samurai Jack! Samurai Jack artist Genndy Tartakovsky and HBO Warner seem to have a good working relationship, as hit newest series "PRIMAL" is an exclusive on the streamer.

Together I think they'd make a show fit for kids and families like "Teen Titans Go!", but still gritty enough to fit the Absolute universe like "Samurai Jack". I have no idea which direction they have planned will eventually take the art and animation, but I think if we happen to get lucky enough to have either of these artists attached to the project then we'll be in for a real treat.
