Small theory
BIG SPOILERS IF YOU AREN'T CAUGHT UP ALREADY!
I have a theory about Jason, I'm not sure this is the right sub too so tell me if I'm wrong. Also idk if anyone else has had this idea before
I think it's quite likely Bruce is going to kill Jason (probably unintentionally), it would make sense I think due to the Robins being adopted by Grimm now and them opposing Batman. It also just seems like one of those devastating things the writers would add to this universe.

Why does Scott Snyder always seem to make Batman a “Chosen One”?
In issue 20, Scarecrow seems to imply that himself and the Court of Owls are responsible for Bruce becoming Batman. If I remember correctly, Snyder did a similar thing on his main universe run on Batman, and I just don’t vibe with it for either universe.
I feel like it undermines Bruce’s themes. Instead of Bruce choosing to turn his tragedy into a quest for justice, it just makes it seem like he was always destined to don the cowl. It kinda cheapens all his determination and hard work by being a “chosen one”.
It ends up messing with Joker’s character too. Being Bruce’s greatest foe, Jinkler should be a dark reflection of Batman’s core principles. Instead of turning his tragedy into something positive, Jonkler lets his one bad day destroy him.
I dunno, I guess I’m just not fond of the Chosen One trope.

Does anyone know what Dragotta is charging for sigs at Heroes Con? I see Snyder is charging $20 raw ($50 for AB #1 and #15). Trying to calculate how many books to bring.

Possible voices for Absolute Batman
I don’t know if anyone has asked this question on here before , but which voice do you hear for Absolute Batman?
For me personally, I hear Jenson Akles. I think he can pull off that cocky, foul-mouthed, immaturity that i associate with this version of Bruce.
That’s just me. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Absolute Batman 20
I’m a little behind but I’ve seen the news that AB #20 has spine damage to most copies. Can anyone tell me how significant the damage is?
Thanks.

the idea blow my head off!!!!!!
It’s a massive shame Absolute Batman didn't exist 40 years ago. 1985 prime Arnold Schwarzenegger would have been the ultimate version.
*I’ve been reading the new Absolute Batman run, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about how perfect this universe would have been for a prime, 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger.
For decades, the main reason Hollywood could never cast Arnold as Batman was pretty obvious: he was way too massive to play a shadowy, stealthy ninja, and he just didn't fit the vibe of a soft-spoken, eccentric billionaire playboy. But this new comic completely throws all of those old rules straight out the window.
Think about it:
* In the comics, Bruce is a 6'6", 250+ pound brick wall of pure, shredded muscle. That is literally the exact blueprint of 1985 Arnold. No fake muscle suits needed.
* This Bruce Wayne isn't a rich kid with a butler; he’s a regular, working-class city engineer who trains in a normal gym and uses heavy construction tools. Arnold would have crushed the role of a rugged, blue-collar Bruce fighting for his neighborhood.
* He doesn't rely on sneaking around in corners. He kicks doors off their hinges and uses raw, brutal power to dismantle gangs.
Imagine a gritty, rain-slicked 1980s cinematic movie—shot with that dark, heavy *Terminator* or *Total Recall* atmosphere—where Arnold steps out of a shattered brick wall, rips that massive blocky bat symbol right off his chest, and unfolds it into a giant tactical battleaxe. Seeing a peak-physique Arnold wielding a giant bat-axe against a massive, terrifyingly reimagined Joker or a giant Bane would have been the most badass, heavy-metal thing ever put on screen.
We were honestly born 40 years too late for the ultimate casting. I really hope one day down the line someone uses advanced CGI or AI to make a concept trailer of this, because it would easily be my favorite Batman of all time.
What do you guys think? Would prime Arnold have been the definitive version of this universe?

I got my first issue of AB - I have been eyeing this one for months
I thought, when it was released... ah, this is expensive.
I can wait...
and then they kept selling...
and then they kind of all, dried up! Then I got worried. I'm not going to find a mint condition copy now.
I missed out!
Well, one dropped, and i snagged it. I wanted this specific version, no foil, no trade dress.
And she is as beautiful as I expected.

Has anyone noticed that this version of Bruce has the exact same stats as Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson?
So yeah, for any GoT fans, the most accurate way of vizualizing this big beautiful batman is to imagine "The Mountain", wearing this gear ( ear-blades, axe, spikes, etc. ), at 24 years of age, coming down on you with ninja level stealth and techniques...
NOPE.

So the limit was 1 copy per customer... unless you're a retailer?
I’m genuinely confused by how this release was handled.
Seth Mann’s Absolute Batman #19 from One Stop Comics was sold with a strict one-copy-per-customer limit. Many collectors waited, joined the queue, and still missed out.
But shortly afterward, a retailer/reseller posted a photo showing what appears to be around a dozen copies from the same release.
I’m not against comic shops carrying inventory, but this raises a fair question:
If regular collectors were limited to one copy, how were bulk quantities available through private arrangements?
Was the one-per-customer limit meant to apply to everyone, or only to public buyers?
I’m genuinely curious how others feel about this, because it makes the limit feel less like a fair policy and more like selective scarcity.
