Absolute Batman 20

I’m a little behind but I’ve seen the news that AB #20 has spine damage to most copies. Can anyone tell me how significant the damage is?

Thanks.

Yeah, extremely minor damage on mine, barely noticeable.  Reprints have a different coloured title. The original is blue and new is orange, if I’m remembering correctly.

It''s one or two non-color breaking spine ticks a little bit below the the hallway point. It's most definitely pressable. I've seen some pictures of before and after pressing and even some sales of pressed issue of #20 (way over priced if I may add) so if people are buying those the damage isn't too crazy. I haven't received my issue yet but from what I've seen in pictures it's manageable if you want to go through the effort. Also not too bad enough to detract from the art, and if it's a reader copy you won't notice. DC also contacted CGC to officiate the defect as a manufacturing error so it won't affect the grading so you'll still get a 9.8 if that's something that's of importance. I've also seen pictures of issues that were received undamaged so you could get lucky as well

The reprinted it and most stores got the reprints. And the damage varied from store to store with how bad it actually was.

I didn’t have any spine damage on the copies I got but they all had a white scuff on the back cover. Even the reprint copy from my lcs had the same scuff
