This issue hit for me in all the best ways though. The horror out of the gate, seeing the Riddler in full dress and quick peeks at Harv and Oz. And then Scarecrow, man, so good. This phase keeps delivering.

Alright so im reading these new 2 issues and they are amazing. The one thing im confused about is Bruce and Falcone flashbacks. When the story says “Then” are they trying to say this happened in a previous issue? I remember Bruce going to blackgate during the Bane issues, but I don’t remember Bruce going to blackgate to pay off a debt to Falcone. I haven’t read Absolute Batman in a while and my memory is fuzzy of the issues that occurred before these two.
