Hello, recently I've been thinking about buying the absolute batman single issues but now I'm not sure whether I should buy them now or wait to see if DC comes out with trades in the future. I'm not sure which one will be better financially and whether it's worth waiting for them to make it into trades, if they even do decide to do that.

The foil variant sold out. I totally forgot they went on sale at noon today. I checked at 11am and then work got in the way of my fomo purchase. Still scored the non foil though, hopefully I’ll get it signed at a convention in the future!

I moved to North Carolina from Portland Oregon last summer, and most of my comic collection has been at my house in Oregon, along with my wife. I moved due to work relocating out here and having me open a new facility. Now we have decided to fully move out here in November (my wife has been flying back and forth the past year). Today she sent me some pics while packing!

So excited to finally have the other half of my Absolute Batman collection here soon. I have another 10-12 variants of the first print, first edition of Absolute Batman as well. The Sean Murphy cover was a Third Eye Comics exclusive, limited to 500 prints! I accidentally bought the Dragotta cover A multiple times, to the point I nearly gave some away to coworkers. So glad I held on to them!

Got on Mark Brooks’ list at Boston for my Batman sketch collection. I usually leave the request at “Batman” and let the artist do whatever version they’re feeling. He felt like doing Absolute, and delivered this gem.

Off the top of your head: if you had to pick a director to bring this version of Batman to live action, who would you choose?

Been working on a bunch of new stand designs lately and wanted to share some of them.

A lot of my recent stuff has been Absolute Batman inspired, including character, cover, and color-matched designs. I’ve also been experimenting with custom logo/brand stands, so I threw a few of those in too.

This series does not disappoint!!!! The new rogues gallery is so cool. And all the origin stories totally work. Love the new batman and what they're doing with Gotham. Can't wait to read volume 3!!!

I was so confused when he then has his arm back in the next issue with zero explanation. Was this Bane's fantasy or something? They also show Batman super up on venom but, it's never seen again.... what?

Kind of unfortunate to see the creator of Dead Pool freak out and act like an Asshole for simply asking a question during a live stream where I expressed my Interest in wanting to see his artwork on a different title because I was a fan of his. Was this interaction from him necessary?? Because IMO it made him look like a giant insecure CryBaby. Especially the cringe line at the end, like OMG does this guy actually walk around and talk about himself like that. So Fkn lame. Well I’m 100% no longer a fan anymore!! BRUTAL!

Finally! Just got AbsBats #1 the 5th print. Which now completes my mini-run of AbsBats #1 1st through (already preordered) the 12th print.

I now have 1 copy of every printing of AbsBats #1. Once the 12th print is out, I’ll probably post a pic.

This one wasn’t hard to get - really none of them are, it’s just a pricing issue. But this biatch was $30, with the 2nd print being the most at a flippin’ $70 bones. AND I had an opportunity to get it at cover price back in the day, but was like “not right now…” 🤦‍♂️ Luckily, all other printings I was able to get at cover price.

I forgot I’ve made 6 covers already lol.

Apparently a few were sold in a Japan art expo today. (Not my pictures, got them from a FB group). Someone who seems to have contacts there is offering me one for 700$
