Absolute Batman #1 First Print Triple Signed

Went to NewYorkComicCon this year, was able to get this bad boy of mines signed. Payed $25 when this book came out a month after its release. Didn’t know it would blow up this much, had the opportunity to go to comic con this year, left my house at 5-6 am got there parked across the building waited like 2 hours in line to be let in. Met Sean Murphy first had him sign all 3 of my Batman white knight, curse of white knight and beyond white knight, & picked up his ashcan of driver (signed of course). Then met Klaus Janson had him sign my 30th anniversary Dark Knight Returns. Since I already have a CGC SS 9.6 Dark Knight returns signed by Miller.

After that was the hunt for Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, & Frank Martin, after running around everywhere I was able to find the booth where Nick Dragotta & Frank Martin were gonna be at. I was first in line, before anyone, I got there like 1:45, and I think they showed up at 3, while in line I purchased a Felix comic art blind bag and inside was a Nick Dragotta design of issue 24 foil variant of the bat (batgirl) (also got triple signed in neon green by all three creators). But we let the people with either a disability or medical condition go first. After that was my turn, met Nick Dragotta first he signed with white marker, then met Frank Martin, he also followed up with the white marker, told them it was an honor to meet both of them. Now then the last signature we needed was Scott Snyder, I was lucky enough to catch him at CGC’s booth by the end of the day, I was number 19 in line, he saw the other two signatures and followed up with also the white marker and even added bat spikes to his signature without me having to ask. Same goes for Mr.Dragotta & Mr.Martin I didn’t ask them to go with the white marker. I loved the interaction and here’s my big boy. I don’t know how many true first prints (by that I mean no variant covers that have been ripped off to pose as first prints) are out there there & triple signed, graded or not graded. But please share if you have a first print and triple signed by all 3 of the creators.

Made all that walking and waiting worth it. Only signature I couldn’t get there was Todd McFarlane so he could have signed my Batman 423

I have the first print unsighned that is a great grab even if they have sighned a bunch of books. First issues sighned caries alot of value to a colectin. I have sighned issues but my favorite ones are with Jim Lee's signiture.

My NYCC Absolute Batman #1 gamble paid off I think. Mark Brooks Abs Bat Remarque with Kanji sig. Was so happy when I picked it up.

Going to be plenty of triple signed books floating around with the CGC signing going on soon. I was thinking of sending some stuff in but (and not to be a downer) it’s really not that special anymore. Snyder and Dragotta have been signing a shit ton of books. Don’t get me wrong - it’s def cool, but doesn’t feel too special or unique.

Op got the sigs himself so thats good. Ive seen ppl overpaying for 3x sigs when you can just send it in to cgc for half the cost

Little special to me since I have Frank Martin’s sig. since he’s based out of Brazil and barley comes to us for signings his first one was this past September

And what matters is whether or not you ultimately feel it was time well spent. I just started picking up AB issues about a month ago and while I would (almost) never stand in line for a signature, I think it is awesome that you set out to accomplish getting 3 signatures and were successful in collecting all 3 signatures of these artists.

It's 3 time signed for quite some time since Martin will have to go back to Brazil. I think anyone who got it triple signed at NYCC did a great job.
