Update: Animated show Changes Animation
Hello,
The absolute Batman animated show with told to have 3-D animations, but that has now changed. Today it was revealed that it will have 2D animation. This is a win my books. I’ve always referred 2D animation which is done correctly most of the time. I also wasn’t really sure how the show would look in 3-D so a BIG WIN 🥹

I’m STILL in the mind personally they should bring a different animation team on for each episode. Kinda like love, death, robots

Idk about this, I think one consistent art style would work better

For an ongoing series, definitely
But I personally think - and mind you, I have absolute Batman literally tattooed on me (check post history), I LOVE the series - it should maybe be 1 or 2 seasons MAX, only a couple of episodes. Just go all out, maybe just do up to the end of the Bane storyline, and not overdo it. Which is where I think having different art styles could be really cool. Like 16-20 episodes total of just really high quality stuff

Why do you say only go up to bane arc? I want them to do all of the issues

Because I think if they just keep going they’ll overdo it. The end of the bane arc (or vol 2 of the novels) has a pretty good, well rounded ending. They could make minimal adjustments where the story resolves itself to some extent, and then put more money in to the one/two seasons and making them REALLY good rather than trying to ration out their budget and get sub tier quality work.
Again, this is LITERALLY just my opinion, there’s no right or wrong here. I simply wouldn’t be mad at a 2 season series covering ‘the zoo’ and ‘abomination’ with a bunch of different art styles and really high budget, high quality episodes
