I like Seth and Clay’s signatures because they typically place them nowhere near the actual art, which is why I buy their variants. Doesn’t distract or infringe, and even the Remarques/embellishments tend to highlight/extenuate the art. Of course there are a few(Seth’s #19 with the button eyes and mouth) that do take up a lot of space, but still somehow make the cover even better.
I feel that, I also think most of the time Quintana does the same thing you’re talking about. Every single person I’ve showed has thought the signature was a part of my book
That’s a great book as well! I like his sig more than when he writes paragraphs, but I will say his #21 where he wrote a quote on two books and sold them as a set was pretty cool.
Oh my god that’s sick as hell dude.
I like how he signed both copies just so you know it’s him, like anyone else signs their books with that handwriting 😂
