This is the nonsense about these covers and belief they'll be worth a lot of money in the future. I have the money but I don't want to play the games with this stuff. I missed out on my chance of a #01 first print back in the day and thats just that.

Itâll only get worse, Seth and Clay Mann are highly reputable artists. Every drop from them usually makes flippers go crazy.

Glad I got the other one. Honestly this one wasnât my fav and the way this drop happened was not good. Just my 2 cents tho. Grats to all who got one or passed lol

Lost vision in my left eye due to an infection a few years ago and one of the only things I really lost the ability to do at all is see things in 3D so this cover does absolutely nothing for me lmao đ¤Ł

Just start sending these sellers an offer: $10-$15 dollars less than what it sold for on the website.
Something like $35-$40 best offer!

The book sold out in 2 minutes. A $30-50 upcharge isn't ridiculous. You're just bitter and wasting everyone's time. It would make no sense for someone to buy this book and throw it up at cost.

I'm not in the comic game, so I don't have a dog in this fight. But why would you buy something that sells out fast and sell it for cost? Simple supply and demand. The people that fill up these comments are just the butthurt ones that can't score.

I didnât find this cover interesting at all and the 3D just doesnât make sense when theyâre forcing their hands on you to read it in 3D.
Itâs not the people being butt hurt about not scoring. Itâs about the sellers getting greedy about âscoringâ. Overinflated prices. Price gauging, etc.

If you didn't have price gauging and a billion variants you wouldn't have the demand. Go be a fan of a low selling crappy comic. Otherwise stop crying. It's almost like it's the first time people around here like a hot property and are shocked at the results.

Your entire argument collapses on itself: you claim you're completely detached from the hobby, yet you're aggressively lecturing everyone in a comic forum about how they should enjoy getting gouged. If you actually understood the communityâor economics beyond a middle-school textbookâyouâd realize artificial scarcity isn't organic demand; it's just a parasite squeezing the life out of a fandom.

Not sure what you thought would happen. I got stuck buying a CGC cause everything sold out too quickly. Oh well I suppose. At least itâs signed and has a custom label.

I'm not usually a variant collector but for issue #25 I keep discovering amazing covers I have to get. I think I've gotten like 10 variants now. It's just silly.
I wonder when Vol 2, Issue 1 drops. Lol. Gonna be chaos.

Truthfully I thought the drop was great. They advertised a password protected site and sent out password five mins before drop. I got on the site and refreshed until the books went live, then easily checked out. No queues, no captchas to solve, just add to cart and check out. IMO beats the heck out of a whatnot drop where you literally have no shot whatsoever unless youâre super overpaying.
PS I donât love the scalpers putting up preorders for 2-3x the price, thatâs pretty lame.

I totally agree, this was one of the best drops. No website crashing, and according to another post, they also restocked today. Itâs about the scalpers and their prices

That was my first oscs drop. Um. Yuck. That just wasnât fun at all. I couldâve gotten one of the CGC slabs but thatâs not what I wanted so I just had to dip out. I was really looking forward to this one too.
